I am not paying for college myself yet, but I probably will have to for graduate school.

I have one full-time job, and the only reason I went full-time was for the money :D I get paid a lot more being full-time than part-time, because it is a HUGE pay raise

I work two part time jobs.... I have a work study that pays ct's minimum wage and then a fairly good freelance photography job through the college alumnae dept. I had a part time job at Macy's (a department store for those that don't know it), but it was too hard going off campus for work when there was something on campus for the same amount of pay that I could make up my own hours for. And my boss is really understanding if I have too much to do for papers and such.

And I'm paying for my college through loans, but my parents help me a lot with the expenses while i'm in college.

I have to work 50 hrs a week to afford school, I also attend full time. I don't get any help from the government or my parents. When I transfer to a four year university I hope to get scholarships, because if I don't I don't know how I will pay for school

I have paid for nine of my ten semesters of university on my own. I have made some money from scholarships, but the vast majority of money comes from a part time job throughout the school year and working full time over summers. I am in no debt, no loans, just working and spending money on little other than school and 'necessities', though now that the end is in sight I am beginning to spend more money on recreation and such.

I do not pay for my own college or rent but I do pay for all car expenses, food, clothing, trips to Target etc. I work 2 part time jobs right now usually 20-25 hours a week depending on the week and next semester I will have 3 jobs and probably work about 25-30 hours a week. I really want to build up my savings account because I feel so insecure right now since I'm living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm so proud of all of you pay for your own college! I'm stressed as it is; I can't imagine needing to work full-time to make ends meet while still in school full-time as well. Good job everyone!

I work at Macy's about 30 hours per week. I'm paying for college with loans, although I did get a few scholarships, and I'm like $15,000 or so in debt now (for only my first year...so depressing, lol). Mostly I just work for money for health insurance and food.

I can't see how people can work so many hours/jobs a week and still go to school full-time. My mom pays for my schooling, but I have a state program that pays my tuition. We're getting by, but barely. Over the summer, I work at a grocery store as a cashier to save up money for my fifth year of school to get my masters.

God bless you all who work. Keep up the good work everyone!
