  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This is a poem I wrote last night about a really good friend of mine and I wanted to know how good it is. Here it goes:

Words Just Aren’t Enough
By: Eve K. Lily

I feel overwhelmed, can hardly breathe
There’s something missing, something I need.
I whisper a prayer, and then see you on AIM;
I sigh in relief and click on your name.

We talk for a while, maybe 6 pages,
Conversing on events, thoughts, and ages.
By the time our talk ends and you get off your PC,
I close my eyes and thank God for sending you to me.

In that moment, there’s something intense I feel;
It’s makes my heart burst, I can tell that it’s real.
It’s great to have a friend when the going gets tough,
But to describe my love for you, sometimes words just aren’t enough.

To me, you’re like no other
You’re almost like my brother
Besides God and my journal, somewhere along the line,
You’re one of the few who in I can truly confine

You’ve said the same to me before,
But the impact of those words are just hitting me more.
I have other friends and we talk about stuff
But this for you is different, I cannot explain…
Sometimes words just aren’t enough.
