Greetings all ,
Thinking this may be helpful to others also .
Recently after having a sense of being rather overwhelmed by many trials and temptations , while crying out inside , this word came into my hearing -
" You can take it like a baby , or you can take it like a man , but either way you're going to have to take it ; for there is no discharge in this war we're in ."
Thinking on this word has helped give a sense of resolution which dispels the tendency for the denial which creates the vulnerability for being caught off guard .
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. <-----> Romans 8:22+23
That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. <-----> 1st Thessalonians 3:3+4
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. <-----> 1st Corinthians 13:11
There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it. <-----> Ecclesiastes 8:8
Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it. <-----> Jeremiah 10:19
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. <-----> Hebrews 12:3+4
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. <-----> 2nd Corinthians 4:16
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; <-----> 2nd Corinthians 1:9+10
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. <-----> 1st Corinthians 15:26
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. <-----> 1st Corinthians 15:54
May The Lord Be Magnified in us !
