Did you ever see the movie "Bad Santa"Like I say, for a lot of people it feels good. Isn't it beautiful, the wondrous diversity of human nature? *sighs happily*
Did you ever see the movie "Bad Santa"
-- the lady who said she couldn't poop right for a week afterwards? That's all I can think about.
Yes, that's fair enough. Either way, though, I don't think it's hypocritical of Christians to think that homosexuals can go to heaven.
hello there;
I roughly refuse the homosexual activeties, why? because it's not a right thing to do, whether you like it or not.
how do we know it's not right?
let's assume that wvery singal human on earth is a homosexual person, what will be the result, the human kind will disappear, so we can know wrong things by knowing what will happen by continuing them.
I can't support the position of definite versus indefinite article Biblically either. That's a nice try, but I've asked time and time again for someone to support this position of "moral law vs ritual law" biblically. So far, no one has been able to meet the challenge.
That graphic itself makes me uncomfortable.Folks just a reminder
Do not say racist or sexist things. If the swear filter is activated, edit your post, don't try to bypass it. Don't post graphics or text you would not be comfortable sharing with someone's grandmother.
We are are a PG 13 site, at least we try to be.
Thanks!

I've read quite a few threads about homosexuality on this forum, and it seems to me that a lot of the people who think homosexual activity is wrong are mainly bothered about male-male anal sex. They contend that it is unnatural, disgusting, that it increases the risk of infection &c. All of these points are of course matters of contention and are open for discussion, but I was wondering, why is this considered an argument against all forms of homosexual activity? Note the following:
In light of these points, I was just wondering if someone would like to answer the following questions:
- Lesbians are homosexual.
- Bisexual men and women engage in homosexual activity.
(edit)- Lesbians are among the least at risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
- Not all actively gay men engage in anal sex.
- (edit).
- Is it wrong for a couple of the same sex to kiss or caress one another in a sexual fashion?
(edit)- Are lesbians and bisexual women as morally compromised as gay and bisexual men? If so, why are they so rarely discussed when homosexuality is the matter at issue?
- Is sexual activity between women biblically condemned?
- Finally, as a matter of interest, is it wrong for two (or more) men, two (or more) women, or an unmarried man and woman, to touch in the same room (with one another's knowledge) without touching one another?
yeah, I tend to think there is more of a gross out factor when it comes to two guys moreso than when it comes to two women. And I say that from a hetero female point of view. I don't know why really. If it's because women are just naturally more attractive and affectionate, or whatever-- but I think what you've said is mainly true. Although I must say I resent the use of the word homophobia. It might not be fear but just a general 'ick' feeling. On a serious note I think that male homosexuals are highlighted for one simple reason. Fear. It really is homophobia in men. Lesbians pose no threat because they don't want to do anything to us. If anything, that just makes us want to try harder to have sex with them. They are still women afterall, we'll want to have sex with them no matter which way they swing. That, and the possibility of a three way always exists.
Male homosexuals on the other hand could possiby want to put something up our bum. Not that many male homosexuals would want to since straight guys tend to be pretty skanky. But the possibility exists. Personally, any day in which I do not get stabbed, shot, have something up my butt or really have any foriegn object enter my body (splinters included) in any manner is considered a success.
For the straight guys out there picture this. Your standing in line when a large man gets behind you. He brushes up against you and you can feel the stubble from his chin on your neck. He puts one large hand on your hip and the other in your pocket. In a deep husky voice he whispers "Those pants would look great on my floor." If imagining that didn't make your skin crawl, then you're probabbly gay. If that had been described as a woman and she said "My girlfriend and I think you should come back to our place." you'd already have your fly halfway undone.
I don't have a source right now but I read briefly once about some studies being done about it. They talked about universal human aversion to feces and evolutionary traits. Aversion to feces is a natural phenomenon and as we have witnessed the ease with which disease and infection are passed and caused by sodomy evolutionary aversion is a reasonable inference at this point. On a serious note I think that male homosexuals are highlighted for one simple reason. I heard it from your grandma. She brought the live chickens and the video camera.Thats what the milkman and his pet donkey tell me
The sciences and social sciences are finding female sexuality to possibly be more complicated than male sexuality, and that it changes, biologically, more. So far, it's all quite vague.
No wonder the issue of female homosexuality is so vague in the Bible... if one can even interpret what is mentioned as being about female homosexuality at all.
And no wonder the anti-gay lobby never talks about lesbianism. They'd end up spending most of their time just trying to figure out the gray areas of female homosexuality, bisexuality, bicurious, friend crushes, etc etc, that they'd be left with no time to come up with catchy phrases like "Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" or "Sodomy is an abomination".
It's just much easier to stick to attacking the stereotype of the gay male.
