I was living with a man much older than myself, in sin, and together we decided to live a clean life as christ would want it and marry. We asked for forgiveness for our previos sin and are living in a faith based marriage now. Does god care about the age difference ina man and woman if they are living in a faith based marriage?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not at all, I am aware of no reason or biblical passage that references a large age difference as a bad thing (though I am sure this does not apply to pedophiles). As long as you are both adults and follow God's word, you are doing well.

Age difference in a marriage would not, itself, go against anything in the core Christian faith. There are some circumstances where such a marriage could be wrong in God's eyes, such as a case where someone is not of legal age, or someone marrying a wealthy elderly person just for the inheritance. If you are part of a loving, Christian marriage, I'm sure that God is smiling down on you both.

Age is nothing to God. However as long as your marriage fits into the "laws of the land" side of things then you will be fine.

Agreeing with others here... in Jesus time a large age difference between men and women in a marriage was the norm, since men married at about 30 and girls in their early teens.
