The Lord is speaking to me today on the subject of women. Some of us were so abused that we decided to rise up and compete with our abusers. We thought to ourselves, “Whatever they can do, I can do better.” Little did we know that this was an effort of futility.
Women weren’t made to compete in this way. They were meant to surrender to the Almighty. Men were made to do that as well. But, the subject of this writing is “women.”
Woman is part of man. She was taken from his side. Woman was created for man – not to abuse him or to be against him, or to be abused by him. But, for him. On his side. She was taken from his side, and is to be on his side.
Some women have been so abused for so long that they have risen up against man (or against other women). They’ve thought of themselves more highly than they ought. They’ve attempted to use their “feminine wiles” to seduce man, and some have succeeded.
Instead of thinking, “Who’s the fairest of them all?” she needs to bow her heart and her knees in humble submission to her Creator. He’s the Only One who can bring about the real change that she desires, and He will do this as she bows and prays.
Some are praying, but not bowing. Some are bowing, but not praying. It takes both to bring a revival to the lands of the earth. So, women of God, let’s do it – for Him. Let’s bow before the Almighty, and repent of our misdeeds. Let’s pray for forgiveness, first for ourselves, and then also for those who have hurt us.
Let’s pray for the Lord to pour out His Spirit upon all the people of the earth. Let’s pray for their salvation and deliverance. Let’s pray for revival of the Church, and restoration to her original destiny, and a reversal of the effects of the enemy.
Let’s not forget to give God thanks – daily. This is His will for us, to give Him thanks. This is a small thing we can do for Him, yet necessary. But for the grace of God, consider where you would have been had not the Father sent Jesus to die for your sins. Then, give Him thanks, and receive His mighty blessing on your life.
