Not that I find this amusing in the least, but does that mean if Kerry wins, the caller will be the one burning in hell?? What a sad life this person must lead.

People already say stuff like this to me, and I'm still alive to hear it. Yes, the caller offended me with what they said. People offend me every day.

I pray that I can positively influence my family and loved ones by my whole life, including who I vote for and the issues that I support.

Ugh, right here in Wisconsin, too. Well, I have to wonder about her husband AND the anonymous caller.

Unless she specifically had instructions, (which she didn't), I have to wonder about her husband telling people in her obit that the best way to honor her memory is to vote for a certain Presidential candidate??? That's lunacy, IMO.
Contrary to his reasons, thank goodness most obits DO talk about what a "nice person" so & so was & gives their background. Sometimes it may include that someone worked or volunteered for a Democratic/Republican Party, etc. That's much better than playing on someone's sympathy & actually ordering them to vote for Kerry or Bush!!! What if she has loved ones that disagreed with her politics - should they feel like doo-doo inside if they vote for another candidate now??? I chalk it up to Ron Reagan Jr. using President Reagan's funeral to attack Bush???!!! To me, it's dishonoring the person, not honoring them, by bringing in stupid talk of politics when you have an opportunity to show the world who this person REALLY was. If she embraced "Democratic" ideals - how about listing those & including that, thereby letting people make up their own minds about Kerry.

Now, on the other hand, the anonymous caller needs to get down on their knees & ask forgiveness for such a callous, heartless thing to do to this man. That is NOT Christian, period! I don't agree with what he did, but the man is GRIEVING. Bless his heart & may God comfort him.

...seeing as how your car was keyed; and my car was bashed in just because we supported the candidates of our choice by having a bumper sticker on our respective cars...
