And you prefer to believe a classics scholar and, more weirdly, a blog by a guy who actually recommends wearing a tin foil hat to prevent people from reading your thoughts. From the same blog:

Frankly, this is a lot of verbal mishmash that makes no sense. Woke is trying to make peopke "equal" in some way, and somehow that's a form of Marxism? It's just an absurd argument. What kind of equality are we talking about here? Equal rights? The concept of equal rights is embedded in the US Constitution, and you'd better not be calling the Constitution Marxist. Equality in itself is not equivalent to Marxism. If you're just talking about financial equality, that's socialism, not woke, and socialism isn't automatically Marxist either..

The salient Marxism-like characteristic is eternal class warfare: There can be no reconciliation between classes.

In formal Marxism, the classes are economic.

In Radical Feminism, they are gender. Yes, I said "gender," not sex; there is a reason TERF means Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist.

In CRT, they are racial.

I personally limit the term "Marxism" to economic theory, but others have transmogrified the Marxist dialectic to other agendas.
