When I first became a Christian I was saved into the WOF movement and enjoyed great teaching. As time went by I found myself moving away from it into more charismatic circles which actually doesn't have a great deal of biblical teaching. Anyway I have recently been listening to Kenneth Hagin on You Tube and have got a real buzz out of sound teaching again and wanted to know what teachers or teaching sets/books others on here recommend. I am familiar with Bill Winston, Nassir Sadikki, Andrew Wommack and Ken Copeland.Thanks.

Your starting out good. I'm not into Sadikki... but as to the others you mentioned... Hagin Sr, Winston, Wommack, and Copeland are favorites among most of us.

Would also recommend Keith Moore, Joseph Prince, Creflo Dollar. Many of us like Joel Osteen. He may not be WoF but I enjoy him anyway. Other responders may mention more. These are my main ones...

Welcome to the WoF forum...

Thanks, Sadikki's style may be a little different but I think he is pretty much word of faith. I'm not a fan of Dollar or Prince but will give Moore a look. I still find that Hagin Sr is one of the greatest teachers ever. Many deal with health, wealth and prosperity but no one teaches spiritual laws and biblical truths like him. I guess he is more of a substance man and it was more teaching in this vein that I was after.

Charles Capps is the best I know of on how to scripturally walk and talk faith.

Kenneth Hagin (Dad) is solid on a variety of Word of Faith topics.

Kenneth Copeland is the best I've found on the blessing (blessed to be a blessing) and supernaturally coming out of debt.

Jerry Savelle is the best I've heard on the favor of the Lord.

Joel Osteen is the best I've heard on being encouraged in the Lord's love.

IMO:

Anything you get from Dad Hagin will put your thinking in proper scriptural order.

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." - 2 Timothy 2:15

Almost anything you get from Charles Capps and Kenneth Copeland will teach you how to change your circumstances.

"God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." - Romans 4:17

"So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." - Mark 11:22-24

As the Lord directs to various messages from Jerry Savelle, Bill Winston, Keith Moore, etc, the gaps will fill in.

The Lord told me to LISTEN to WHAT these anointed teachers have to say BUT to DO what the Lord tells me to do with what I hear.

"He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. " - Ephesians 4:11-12

"[If/Since we…] ·get our new life from the Spirit [live by the Spirit], so we should ·follow [be guided by; walk in step with] the Spirit." - Galatians 5:25 EXB

"If we are living now by the Holy Spirit’s power, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives." - TLB

Word of Faith works best when you follow the step by step leading of the Lord.

"When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth." - John 16:13

Dad Hagin had a teaching style that is so easy to receive and understand.

His videos are such a blessing any time.

As well for today Jessie Duplantis is my favorite.

But not everyone receives the same teaching in the same way.

Joseph Prince has a vast knowledge,of Hebrew and is gifted.

When I need a powerful message Copeland will feed you tiger meat and gunpowder^_^

Smith Wigglesworth, had to be a influence on Dad Hagin.

Hagin mentions him numerous times in his sermons.

Smith Wigglesworth was a Faith giant and his life story is amazing, with so many accounts of the power of God being manifested in his travels.

You can go to Smith Wigglesworth .com ,where a lot of his teaching is available.

Derek Prince always seems to provide a balanced perspective on overcoming in the spiritual battle we're engaged in. He also ministers "finding God" when you seek Him. Developing an expectation that your prayer time is not supposed to be in vain.

Dave Roberson is very good about getting and staying filled and in the spirit of prayer.

Gary Carpenter is also very good about "doing Dave's message" and hearing God for yourself. From that, Gary teaches on many hours of praying in tongues and God giving him a LOT of teaching on finance.

Kat Kerr's testimonies are wonderful for developing your expectation that things are not always going to be the same (revival coming). It's not one you'll "get lost" in (by the numbers). It's one where you as an individual will be consumed with His fire and purpose.

She preaches well on spiritual warfare (often seeing into the spirit realm) and how to avoid problems in your life.
How to clean out your soul!

She also "directly intersects" Gary Carpenters teachings on finance. God sending waves from "The Idea Zone" where witty ideas and inventions await God's believing people, who's hearts have been prepared (here's where Dave and Gary's stuff comes in).

You see God won't give you something that is going to kill you (great prosperity). He wants us to be content right where we're at. He wants to take the root of the love of money out of His people. He wants His people to know they own the field they work in (not having to sow money in it to reap prosperity). So the whole relationship thing (hearing God for yourself by staying filled and praying in tongues) VERY good encouragement for things to come. He's revised doctrine on a number of verses about giving, so common in the charismatic church. It's about "do whatever He tells you".

People know God wants to prosper them (the necessary first stage), But HOW is where things needed some work. It's not about sowing money (although sowing is a scriptural thing to do). It's about being willing, hearing and obeying = the good of the land.

God wants to give businesses to His people where they do and perform in the talents they were given. They actually enjoy what they do, because they get to do what they were made for (just like Heaven). If the heart is pure and eye is single, then you're ready for details from the inspiration He's already given in seed form to many people. They need to pray and birth those ideas into fruition.

So if you're filled, and hearing God well, and your heart is right, and you let God remove the idols from your life, you're ripe for moving with Heaven on the earth (another big facet of what is to happen). It's "prep time" and if you follow through, you can play a big part in the revival.

Kevin Basconi has several books that speak deeply on moving with Heaven and the angelic realm to bring forth the kingdom. I have received words of life from them (all of these really).

It's an exciting time. Always good to review the foundation and get real solid (we so often forget). But moving forward into your inheritance is where God wants to take us.

As already mentioned by someone else I would cast another vote for Jesse Duplantis. Also Michael T Smith. He served under Creflo for years before starting his own church. I would love for someone to please just watch 1 of his sermons. He has a whole video repository online seperate from his church site. Its just a free video site of ALLOT of teachings done by him catagorized for easy viewing. If you consider yourself a veteran WOF person then please check it out. I have a strong feeling he will be added to your personal lists if so. UnderstandingTV.com
