woke up this morning with the "oh Woe is me attitude." Micah and Jacob were up all night, one was screaming for milk and the other was just wanting his way. Even though I have not had a good nights sleep in 4 years, a still small voice reminded me of just how blessed I really am...You see, some women would give anything to hear their little ones crying in the night, waking up ever hour just for attention, or maybe a glass of milk because they are thirsty.
I know women who have never had the opportunity to wake to a screaming baby, or fussing children at all.
I have a dear friend, his sister has been missing for over a month now. She was 8 months pregnant when she went missing. She knows what a sleepless night is. My heart is sad because it is so easy to get caught up in the "poor pitiful me" syndrome when actually, we are blessed and don't even realize it.
