• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I don't have any, and probably won't simply because I just can't afford to pull out of any of the classes I'm taking. But I don't think having a couple is bad. I have a friend who has 3 or so, and he had no trouble in getting an internship over the summer, and probably won't have trouble getting a job once he graduates. So don't worry about it. After you've had your first job, grades don't matter that much anymore, anyway, or so I'm told.

I have one so far although I might get my second this year (pray that I don't), but they're not bad. The only thing you have to watch out for is that financial still counts them as hours attempted and you can only attempt, I think it's 30 hours, over what is needed for your degree plan. After that you have to start paying what the state is paying for that class and that's like 3 times what we pay now. Look in your student handbook under excessive hours.

I don't think every place does it that way, public schools maybe. I'm pretty sure mine just charges you for hours per semester over 17.

I have no Ws because I figure if I paid my money to take the class I am gonna carry it through, whether I get a C or an A-. I have never been in any danger of failing a class, so I guess I have never really thought about it seriously, but I cna't imagine taking a class, paying the money, and officially getting nothing out of it.
