  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

RisenwithChrist!.jpg

If you then be risen with Christ
seek those things which are above
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Ser your affections on things above
not on things of the earth
For you are dead and your life is hidden with Christ
in God!

This is a cropped version of a much larger work. In the orginal painting there is a wheat field beneath the Bride. The wheat field represents the world. Although the Bride soars with Jesus and her affection is set on Him, she looks at the wheat field below praying that those who don't have a close relationship with the Lord would be planted in the field of His Heart of love.

Many roses are coming from the side of Christ. As the blood flows from His wounded side, the blood turns into roses representing His great grace poured out on the world becasue of the Bride's prayer and intercesssion.
