Witch Hunter Robin

Hey all. I was wondering if Witch Hunter Robin was still on? They recently put it on Adult Swim on CN, but now it doesn't seem to be on. Did they switch the time it's on or did they take it off?

It's only on Saturday nights (maybe even Fridays too) now. I wanna say at like 12:30 or something like that.

Not on Fridays nothing good on Fridays. On Saturdays they have the weekly lineup until 12:30 (consisting of Sealab 2021 which I find a stupid show at least Aqua Teens is funny) At 12:30 they have Inuyasha. Witch Hunter Robin went through the series two or three times (estimating here) on weekdays at 12:00 until they replaced it with Inuyasha then changed it to Aqua Teens. I think they have now taken it off the channel for awhile just like Lupin The Third, but do not ph33r, just as Lupin came back Witch Hunter Robin will come back as well.

Ugh, now they have old Inuyasha episodes on at 12:30 on weekdays and Detective Conan (Case Closed here in US) at 1:00. Yeesh I can't believe how long it took the US to get Conan on the air...In places such as France (and many other countries) it's one of the most popular shows still (it aired originally I think in 1996 in Japan). It has 300+ episodes bleh, stupid editing. In the first episode instead of having blood they had a big cloud.

Off topic tangent on "Case Closed" a second:

The Americanization as well as the editing really annoyed me. I could see why they had to change the title to "Case Closed" (as "Detective Conan," the original title, was in violation of an American copyright >_< ), but changing "Shinichi" and "Ran" to "Jimmy" and "Rachel"? >< Removing or renaming almost all of the Japanese cultural references? >< UGH! Talk about butchered. Some episodes are passable, but I'd sure like to see a sub version that wasn't so utterly ruined.

Probably never will happen though, since I'm opposed to online downloading. Yarrr. ><

Well that's good. Robin started slow but, by all accounts, it picked up a bit later on.

Once again stepping off topic to Case Closed/Detective Conan. There was an episode where they kept on referencing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I'm curious to know if that was the original or if it was changed from something else in the Japanese original.

CTNetwork changes its schedule all the time. I would say the best way to find out when anyshow is coming on or will start coming on again would be to go to www.adultswim.com
Oh and for Witch Hunter Robin it doesnt come on at all for now.

I only saw about 4 episodes before it was taken off the air. The episodes I've seen were great, though. And I don't have the Detective Conan DVD's, so I watch it on TV and it seems to be a great show. I find few flaws in it, besides the "once a day murders".
