An Antifa leader known as Commander Red was busted carrying a flamethrower to a Wisconsin Black Lives Matter rally — and “dropped into the fetal position and began crying” when stopped by cops, officials said.


Matthew Banta, 23, is “known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests,” a criminal complaint in his Green Bay arrest record insisted, according to WBAY.

He was carrying stickers and a flag for the controversial group — the name of which is short for “anti-fascist” — along with “military-grade 5-minute” smoke grenades, fireworks rockets, and a flamethrower, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Banta was stopped after being spotted with “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets” heading toward a BLM event in Green Bay, police said in the criminal complaint.


The others fled when a cop blocked them with his squad car, but Banta was stopped and “dropped into the fetal position and began crying,” the police report said. He complained that the officer got on top of him, which police denied, WBAY said.

GREEN BAY (WLUK) – A man charged after a confrontation with police in Waupaca a month ago was charged Monday with obstruction for actions during a protest this weekend in Green Bay – where he allegedly had smoke grenades and what police called a flame thrower.

Matthew Banta, 23, made his initial appearance Monday in Brown County court. Bond was set at $2,500 cash. He returns to court Sept. 9 for a balance of initial appearance.

Besides the misdemeanor obstruction charge, he also faces felony bail jumping counts.

Poor thing! Maybe they can provide him with a blanket, a teddy, and maybe some warm cookies and milk while he sits in his cell.

Guys like this are the reason I have to laugh when my über-liberal friends all start talking smack about how brave and tough Antifa is, and how they're going to show the right a thing or two when it all hits the fan.

HA! Put a bunch of those pansies up against some military veterans with extensive combat experience, and see how long they last. You'll never see a "movement" disintegrate so fast in your life.

The only thing....the only thing....that's keeping these knuckleheads safe is the fact that the election has not taken place yet. I suspect that shortly after November 3rd, no matter who wins, that's all going to stop. Mr. and Mrs. America are simply biding their time, but once this decision has been made, when these punk Commie kids show up to start burning businesses, the people inside the businesses might simply open fire, and mow them down like wheat.

I say that with no pleasure. But I didn't manufacture this societal situation; I am merely making predictions on where things are going to go, based on what I have been observing.
