Anyone else see this? I took my wife and we both enjoyed it. Its the best drama I've seen in a long time.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need to give it another shot. Usually this is the sort of thing I would eat up.
I thought I'd sat through what I figured was 90 minutes or so and kept waiting for the plot to advance, then checked the time and it had only been half an hour. At that point I realized it just wasn't sucking me in like it should have, and I split.
The acting was very good, but it was like this endless picaresque setup that just wasn't going anywhere for me.
They're not the same, but just to give an example: Frozen River was my favorite movie a couple years back when it came out, and there are enough similarities in tone and production between the two that hopefully the reader realizes I didn't go Winter's Bone hoping for the latest Transformers-fest or anything.

i liked it but had to watch it again,like after it got nominated i finished it. it was long winded so to speak...then it gets going.sad that people live this way!!
