Would someone be able to explain the difference/reasoning for choosing Kosher wine over regular wine. Are there certain brands of wine that would be considered "clean"?

There is one wine out- I forget the name, but it comes in a nice blue bottle- that is very sweet and does not taste like wine.
Could be.....I'll have to check the label next time I see it served...
