  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've installed MS XP SP2 for a month now with no issues.

As for issues with AV and other firewalls.
AV: Ensure you have the latest version and updates from the manufacture since they issue program updates (with thie latest version only) to work properly with MS XP SP2.
Firewalls: Also ensure you have the latest version and updated from the manufature. Disable your current firewall befor installation of MS XP SP2. MS XP SP2 comes with its own filewall and is turned on automaticly after the installation. Then you can turn off the MS XP firewall and turn on your favorite firewall. You should not run both firewalls at the same time.

Hope this helps.
Have a good day.

Heh. I'll save you all some trouble. :)

Get a Mac.

Or, if you want to save yourselves some money, go Linux. You'll never look back. ^_^

Using Xandros Linux 2.0. I do everything I do in M$ Windoze - Surf the net, make webpages, burn CDs, listen to MP3s, play games...

Trust me. ^_^

I concur. Linux > Windows.

But yeah, as for SP2...oh man I'm not even gonna start with all the issues it has caused me.

Go Linux.
