When I saw this thread, I thought 'ugh, this is getting so old.' Then you said what I was thinking! Haha.

He's got a contract, he has masses of fans, and now he's got a tour. I wonder of anyone has sat him down and told him that he's a big joke. It's kind of sad. His five minutes of fame is almost up. I hear about him all the time, but I don't think I'll have to for much longer.

I agree, I think he is getting old. I also believe he knows that it is a big joke, but for $25,000 and tours and other sponsors, I would not give that up people love this guy like any other comedian. Yeah he will be living in a short spotlight time but he's doing alright.

he is sooo cute. i dont think most people are laughing at him in a mean way, he was just so adorably real. i loved him I think its great that he is getting some fame and attention. There are people out there that shouldnt be getting any fame, nicole hoochie, manson, anyone that sings about cutting their mother which is many now a days, come on its nice to see a real person whos not a model get some attention.

Well I had shelted myself from him for a long time.... but I saw a video on tv of him a week ago or so, and I litterally wanted to gouge my eyes out and pop my eardrums.
It was horrible. I cant even believe this dude is a star... CMON ON PEOPLE lol... is that what it takes to become a millionar these days?
Because if so, I will sing and dance... I dont care, and I dont sound much better then he does... MIght have to change the words... "He bangs"

He was a really horrible contestant on "American Idol."

As for him getting old?

I was tired of him after seeing the commercial for American Idol 10 times with the clip of him attemping to sing "She Bangs"...even BEFORE they were showing full new episodes.

People love this guy, because he lost with dignity. He didn't wine; he didn't make excuses, he didn't curse the judges out or dowse them with ice water. He stated that he "did his very best" and "regretted nothing" about his performance. That inspired people and that is why William Hung has a following.

For what it is worth, I think he realizes that he is lacking in the talent department.
