Do you have a favorite place that you'd like to retire to?

Personally, I'm narrowed down to Traverse City, Michigan or Asheville, North Carolina. Of course, I'd have to talk my church into moving with me - otherwise I stay where I am.

I remember when I was in Columbus pizza delivery folks deserved hazardous pay. :hug: :hug: :hug:

How long did you do that?
And what part of town did you do it in?
I just wrote about a 500 word response detailing my working life here in Columbus. When I went to post it, CF logged me out and I lost it all! (I hit back but the reply wasn't there! I'm not pleased about that.) So I guess I'll just shorten it to answering the questions - almost 9 years and the OSU campus and the area north of it.

Edit: I probably need to go ask the question if there's a time limit between posts which automatically logs you out if you exceed it. Which might be good to know because I might have some other long posts to compose coming up that I'd hate to lose!

I know a soldier in Columbus his name is Tim Boggs and he could use some support from us. He's still in the reserves and is attending OSU. Do you think you can encourage him? Here's a like to his website http://www.boredsoldier.blogspot.com/

Inactivity of one hour will log you out.
Definately use the Draft forum for long posts. :hug:

I sometimes use it for my blog entries if I am going to be typing a lot.
I save periodically so I do not lose all my work.

OK - now I don't mean this to be a morbid question, but . . . . assuming that all family members are safe, what one thing would you take with you if you had to evacuate your house in an emergency (i.e. housefire)?

(Since most people say photographs, assume they're ok and choose something else!)

Have you ever read the bible from cover to cover?
Several times! Though it's probably been over a decade since I last did it. Mostly I just read certain books in the bible now (Romans was my latest one).

Gee, OK, now the only question I can even *think* of is this;
Have you and your beloved met yet?
No details needed;
If not, will it be soon?
I am really just wanting to encourage you here.
Your privacy is totally appreciated by me, so it's okay if you don't want to answer.

Haven't met yet. :sigh:

Maybe soon. It might depend on the physical therapy. If I can drive the LONG distance, maybe I'll try for late March. If not, my other opportunity might be in the summer sometime.

So other than me :blush: what/who might you want to visit/see in my state?
Who or what else would be in your state??? :p

Maybe novelist Tabitha King. Hopefully her husband would be there too. And maybe see some of the cities/towns he writes about.

Where do you get your news? (newspaper, tv, radio, online?)

What is one of your favorite "spare time" activities (i.e. reading, gardening, watching tv)?

If you're a tv watcher, which do you prefer - reality tv (Survivor, American Idol), sitcoms (no examples - don't watch them), dramas (L&O, CSI) or how to (i.e. HGTV, Food Network)? Or do you watch the older shows (Cosby, MASH, Bonanza) on Nick at Nite and/or TV Land?

Okay, are you going to find time to answer the questions myself and others have asked? :p
Can't imagine what is eating up all your time. ;)

Do you snore?
Do you toss and turn?
Do you/have you ever walked in your sleep?
I can't imagine either. I mean 8 hours on the phone should leave time for posting, right?

Snore - I hear I do and it can be loud.
I don't think I toss & turn. I haven't fallen out of a twin bed if that means anything.
I don't think I've ever walked in my sleep. My brother Billy on the other hand did once and missed the bathroom completely, much to my step-sister's dismay. (At least we called it walking in his sleep. He may have been mischievious or even mad at her.)
