So my mom and i are starting up a christian pre-school and i was just wondering how much of a difference can i make spiricholy with such a young age group. will they grow up and forget every thing i tought them and live in sin, or even though they wount remember every thing will they remember that god loves them and cares for them. I just want to know what you think i know it will probubly be different for every kid i just want to know.

P.S.
I am going to work at this pre-school even if every on says that it will not make a diffrence.

Hitting them with morals/good standards at that age is the only and best option for them to live the rest of their lives out in that fashion. I once read that around the age of 5 (depends on the child) and up is when it gets hard to change what their "base" is. I live with my mom's daycare and you can see this all too well as all the kids we have had since they were ankle high are very nice kids and obedient however the children that come to us later are usually not : x. you will definitely make a difference.

Here's a great verse.

Luke 18:15-17 And they also brought infants to Him, that He might touch them. But when the disciples saw, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them and said, Allow the little children to come to Me, and forbid them not. For of such is the kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no way enter into it.

Understand I'm not trying to say that we can only become Christians when we are young, but we can only become Christians when we hear and accept God's word with the same innocent trust and faith as many children have. A faith and hope that has not yet been proven wrong or dissillusioned by defeat. And when is a person most like a child in their innocent acceptance than when a person is a child?

This is definately the time to influence them. God's message is always profittable. There is never a losing situation. You alway plant a seed.

Isaiah 55:9-11 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring out and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Consider:
Isaiah 55:11 said:
11So will My (A)word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will (B)not return to Me empty,
Without (C)accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

I definatly think its awesome for you to be teaching children. I mean the morals you put into them may not stick, but I bet if you pray God will listen, and perform. Cuz we all know God isn't to young to understand what HE is trying to teach them. Just remember that Gods word will not return to Him void. So you teach these lil ones the word, and pray.. God will do the growing. :)
Cheers to you for your love for children!

Careful of the plank in my eye, don't wanna hit anyone when I turn my head.. So if you hear "Duck" than ya better duck! lol

it's a great idea and i'm sure you'll do great.

kids remember people and relationships. if your relationship is based on instruction and encouragment from the Word of God, you really can't miss.

Isaiah 55:11 It is the same with my word, I send it out and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
