When I was probably between the age of 9 and 12, I got really mad one time and told him in a prayer, "God, don't ever forgive me. No matter what I say, no matter I do. I hate you."

Do you think God forgives even if you ask him not to forgive? Thank you for your response.

Your sins were forgiven at the cross. Do you believe it?

That is the essential question: "do you believe it"? If one has received the Lord Jesus into their heart and is devoted to Him, then that one is saved forever and "born again" by the Spirit of God. If one then sins, they can humbly confess it (1 Jn. 1:9-10) and be restored to the favor and blessings of God. Without this relationship with the Savior they only have a religion at best and that without God.

Man am I glad that God doesn't hold against me things I did out of immature childish anger! :) He is just as forgiving to you, too. And I bet Johnzz is right, and that God had a good chuckle over your outburst. :p

John 3:16 says it all, and it really is all as simple as that!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus already did all the work to forgive, you just have to believe in Him!

But, as others have mentioned, make sure you are able to accept forgiveness as well. It might sound a bit silly, but many people struggle with being able to accept the forgiveness given to them (whether from God or a fellow human being) and don't let the healing power of forgiveness wash over them. I struggle with this sometimes myself. It's a good thing to pray about. :)

Most definitely. Most people don't pray that honestly, but that's all of us before we knew Jesus Christ.

The greatest injustice in history was the Son of God dying on the Cross, for something He did not do. Your sin cannot stand up to the power of the grace He, in love, purchased for us.

If He has given you the grace of repentance, accept His forgiveness and reconciliation and reinstate your love and devotion to Him. Those who are forgiven much love much.

Have you said the Sinners Prayer? Its what I said when I gave my life to Christ. Here is a version of the sinners prayer here if you would like to say it.
Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.

It's just as easy to ask forgiveness for that ^ as it is for any other sin.

Part of that question might include a question about what our prayers do. God is not obligated to answer our prayers verbatim. He knew what you meant, heard your frustration, and saw the reasons and background for you saying it.

We say harsh things to our parents too, and they overlook it as low blood sugar or lack of sleep.

That is not to say we should face Him without respect, or think He ignores our prayers; but ironically you confided in Him when saying it. You wanted to have a better response in both directions, and were frustrated that life things didn't flow as smoothly as expected, I'd guess.
