CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello friend, ok, it is sad but true that not all people will be redeemed. This is not God's fault however. The Bible says that God Himself longs that all people will come to salvation. But out of the greatness of His Love he did not want to just create a bunch of puppets, but instead He gave us free will to choose, and in that free will some people choose do deny the FREE gift of life, and so they will not recieve salvation. Good and Biblical answers here folks...tragically not only will not everyone be saved but indeed, few will be saved.....narrow is the road to life and few be there that find it.....
And as another has pointed out, that is not the Lord's fault but Men's....

No, all will not be saved. All will not accept the free gift of Christ's death for them on the cross. That is their choice. Jesus never forced people to follow Him.

Where does the Bible say that? I'm not questioning what you're saying, because I believe that is true. It's just the Pastor from the church that I have recently stopped attending said there were only 'chosen' people.
Though I believe that God wants everyong to be saved, but he just knows in advance whether they will choose Him or not.
So, would you be able to point me in the right direction in the Bible? I would really like to show my Pastor...

Just to add to it all, have a read of the "Parable of the Sower", because many will not have "eternal life", because of the depth of their"Heart Soil".
Many are like the wayside, rocky and thorny Christian who probably are those who are not really saved, because of the level of thier "heart soil".
Then there are the 30-fold, 60-fold, and 100-fold, who are the likes of us, who struggle and question our faith at times, but we do love our Lord Jesus Christ deep down inside of our heart.
Do you love our Lord Jesus Christ deep down in your heart?
