So I am now a proud owner of a Wii! I got it for my birthday from one of my best friends. I absolutely love it, played it for the first time last night.

Does anyone else have a Wii? What do you play on yours?

Awesome!! We have one and it gets a workout almost daily.

What game(s) do you have? For the most part, we play Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, and New Super Mario Bros. (a must if you don't have them already).

My Wii came with the Sports & Sports Resort games. I played it for the first time last night, I bowled a 126.

With the Mario Kart & Mario Galaxy 1&2 do I have to buy any extra accessory (like a special game controller)?

With Mario Kart, you don't "need" a Wii Wheel but I believe it's easier to drive with one (others would disagree). With MG 1&2, you'll need the nunchuk (which is included with the Wii if I'm not mistaken?).

Mario Kart comes with a Wii Wheel. And Mario Galaxy 1&2 just uses the controller that you got I believe.

Exactly. I think it's much easier to use the wheel when playing Mario Kart. Also, I've seen them at one of the dollar stores so they're not expensive.

EDIT: Drew is correct. When you buy Mario Kart, it's typically sold with the wheel.

Wii for the win!

I have Rock Band 2, Rock Band Beetles, Mario Cart, Super Mario Bros., and Just Dance 1&2. The Rock Band games are SOOO much fun.

I also use is it for Netflix. AND remember, if you are connected to wifi, you can use it like a computer. I've posted on CF from it before

The games are usually sold with all the instruments used. And with all of the others, you can use the Wii remote with it. Also, for Mario kart and super bros., and the dancing games I would suggest having more than one remote. It's much more entertaining playing with others.

There is some good games but beware of those lemons and shovelware (mostly companies trying to make a quick buck)

-You should look into Mario Kart because it's pretty awesome and occasionally we have a couple CF races.
-I use mine for Netflix a lot because it's a lot nicer to watch on a bigger screen than my laptop. Only a wifi connection is needed
-I second Sapphyre's suggestion, Mario Party is just too much fun! Too. Much.
-I can't speak for Mario Galaxy 1, but we have 2 and it's pretty cool

Yes.

As long as you have a Wifi connection, there are lots of games that you can play with others just as long as you enter their "friend code" when playing the game. Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros are the two that have been played on CF before.
