I got the novel for my b-day, it is so good! Please say if you are going to give spoilers, I'm not done with it yet. Has anyone read it? Did you like it? Just a place to discuss the novel.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Oh I read it and I loved it! I am completely dying to see the Broadway show, but keep in mind that the novel and the play are very much different. I have the soundtrack to Wicked Broadway version and I'm in love with the music.

Supposed to be seeing it at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (I think the performance is in the spring).

Yeah, I think after Tampa they pop up to Atlanta and I get to see it there.
The book is good, and there is a sequal that just came out too. The name is a slight spoiler so You'll have to highligt between here Son of a Witch and here to see it. It's not a big spolier, but I don't want to give it away to someone who doesn't want to know about it.

The title of the sequel is now a sticker on the cover when you Buy wicked. Everyone who reads the first will know the title right away. BTW, how did you do the highlight thing? That was really neat.

I am so happy I ran across this thread! I absolutely LOVE the book Wicked and am dying to see the stage production. A friend of mine just gave me the soundtrack and I love every song on it. I have listened to it non-stop since last Friday when I got it!! (I'm driving all the girls at work nuts because I play it all day on my computer! 
)
