Can anyone compare the two for me? Does CO get less snow than we do? More sunny days? Just curious!

Which parts of CO are the best areas to live in?

Thinking about relocating.......I am an older single christian female. What cities are great to live in for someone like me that loves to bike ride, get involved at church and maybe visit a coffeeshop/bookstore or two !

Thanks

I lived in CO most of my life. There are about 300 days of sun a year there. It's the big snowstorms you have to survive! :) Colorado Springs is where a lot of ministries are based out of, including New Life Church, the largest church in a 4 state region. I've lived in Denver and Ft. Collins, too. Pueblo as well, but it's not as nice. May Christ direct your steps!

i just moved to Co. from Wi. i am living in lakewood which is in the denver metro area. i have only been living here for about a month and a half but it seems like colorado and wisconsin get about the same amount of snow unless you are in the mountains where they get dumped. as far as the activities you mentioned i think any city in the denver metro area would be suitable. in any modern city you are going to find coffee/bookstores. and there are quite a few chuches in the area, so finding a chuch to get involed in should be that difficult. hope this helps.

I lived in Wisconsin for 4 years, and Colorado for 8. The biggest difference is the temperature during Winter. In Wisconsin it always seemed bitter cold during the Winter. But in Colorado it tends to warm up during the day when the sun comes out. In fact, I rarely have to wear a heavy coat during the day in CO. Except for today, it's 20 degrees right now! Also, the ice in Wisconsin never seems to melt during Winter. I can't tell you how many times I fell on my tush while trying to walk to my car. Ouch!

However, Wisconsin summers are the best! Everything is green and beautiful and the temperatures are pretty mild for the most part. In Colorado, summers tend to be fairly dry (dusty dry) at times and pretty hot.

Overall, I prefer Colorado. You can't beat camping in the Rocky Mountains! :)
