To serve his own purposes in glorifying himself through the glory of Christ Jesus. Why would God create man with capacity for evil if He didn't want man involved in evil doing?

Choice. For the same reason he created His angles with the capacity for evil: choice. True love requires choice, and with choice comes chance.
Choice.
Amen, that's what I was thinking too!
Love does indeed require choice.

Love does indeed require choice.
It is indeed, which is why I never understand why anyone could think that all of this is part of God's master plan. God never intended for sin to exist. He never intended for there to be death and suffering, or a rebellion in heaven that resulted in the loss of 1/3 of His personal attendants.
However, because He won't force anyone to serve Him, despite the obvious benefits, God allows His creation to choose which path they will walk.

Destined to what?We don't REALLY have a choice because we are predestined.

Had God wanted robots, He'd have created us without the capacityChoice is a ridiculous answer.
hotNone of us 'chose' to be exposed to evil nor is there ONE SINGLE CHOOSER who has ever lived other than God Himself in flesh who has not 'done evil' in the form of sin regardless of said 'choices.' Nor has one single chooser who has ever lived ever made himself sinless i.e. with no evil via choice.
That is a ridiculous assumption and nothing more. But some believers LOVE to glorify their supposed choice abilities in order to try to justify themselves. It's a disingenuous practice.

Destined to what?
Pre what? (Before what)?
Had God wanted robots, He'd have created us without the capacity
to choose away from Himself (sin)

nothing

where's the beef?
Had God wanted robots, He'd have created us without the capacity to choose away from Himself (sin)
I agree..Everything was predetermined before the foundation of the world.
There are no accidents.
God knew what would happen and he has a hand in it all.
No it's not. It's basically the argument of free will vs. total depravity.
I don't know.Does man retain any ability after the fall to choose God or the things of God apart from evil, or in his spiritually dead state does man have any affinity toward God that isn't rebellious or lacking in any ability to influence or change said state?
GOD doesn't "need" anything.God is not in need of the 'proper choices' of anyone.
And everyone sins in extremely ROBOTIC fashions i.e. ZERO avoid sinning.
If that isn't robotic I don't know what is.

The prognosis doesn't look good, but the news is great.I agree..
No it's not.
It's a question of why God would allow man to choose evil.
I don't know.
What does Scripture say?
God predestined everything, even evil.
