did we get off track here? all i was saying was God does not want anyone to perish and forgiveness through his Son is available to everyone and anyone who asks for it. No prequalifications or pre anything is necessary.

Well we do differ a little I think, but not as much as some might think. I believe that you are right, forgiveness is available to all that ask for it, but without God's regeneration we cannot know what to ask for. Have a good weekend

And why Christianity over other religions? Well, Christianity is unique, Christianity is True - the Holy Spirit in us testifies to this fact... How can we deny it's truth when we have a relationship with God Himself?
