• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

because you as the writer/artist always find something wrong with it. like it didn't turn out the way you wanted it too or you messed up some minor detail that no one would notice except you and all you can focus on is that one error. at least that's my mom's problem when she paints.

I guess when it comes to writing I tend to be a little over descriptive. I want to reader to picture what I'm saying, and so I describe it. Sometimes to much. That's my problem. And then when I go back and take out the things that need to be taken out, it sounds like it's missing something. As I heard it said, writers find all the faults that others wouldn't notice.

Just my thoughts.

Because it seems like we have always seen a piece of work that is 'better' than ours. At least in our minds. Or one that is more famous, therefore it is better. But really, ity doesn't matter how good our work is, if it comes from our heart. I dont have a clue why we always think our work stinks. I am generally proud of my work, but every once in a while. I hate it. Who knows? Just a writer/artist thing.

Description is good...never take it out...be glad you are good with description because most people can't do that very well

having a vivid imagination's good, it helps to set the scene and i find it always helpful when you have nothing else to write about (thus you write the setting instead), also, knowing exactly what's in the story allows your characters to move more precisely.
