why oh why just when i thought it was all coming together and i was starting a new job. Why does depression always keep bugging you and causing you to fall.

I had my medical today for a job based on the questionnaire i had filled in but he said that it is not a no and not a yes because i will be dealing with the public and maybe confrontation.

I have dealt with confrontation at my last job adn in the same circumstances.

just got to wait.

you know,it just comes on for these reasons no doctor can pinpoint,is it bio chemical ,is it just us. sorry you're down right now.been going down myself today.praying you're okay and will see sunshine soon.i dont know if writing it out helps,here's something though: Every day you can talk about it,is every day closer to coming to an understanding seeing others that get your point.you're not alone soaring,you're just not.does it help that others are in the same frame of mind,maybe not but atleast you know its so common.God Bless ya

Most people who finds the Recovery Forum know depression.
Sometimes it helps if you know you are in the company of those who have been through it.

Yes i do feel better about the situation as funnily enough god spoke to me whilst at the computer.

But i still feel depressed and cut again.

my therapist hasnt been helping much either. Its good that i can come and talk on CF though. There is nothing much that is bothering me. Still its me.

Stress, whether it is good or bad, causes a depressed reaction in anyone. Adrenalin, then lowered serotonin.

Sorry for what you are suffering. I've been through it too. The things I found God used to help me the most were: Christian counseling, antidepressants, Scripture, and Christian recovery groups such as Overcomers Outreach. Also, isn't there a group in here that deals with cutting?

It's hard to reach out when you are emotionally exhausted, but it is so worth it. I'll pray for you, friend. God bless you. Aloha in Jesus
