Going to a non-Catholic Bible study is something I would avoid. Also, ask yourself why your going? Is it to learn your faith?--your not going to get the Catholic answer to your questions at a non-Catholic Bible study. Is it to meet other Christians?--You can meet them at places like soup kitchens, clothes banks, homeless shelters and you get to participate in some corporeal works of mercy.
Even if your strong in your faith, attending non-Catholic Bible studies requires you to have a detailed knowledge of the Bible and a bit of knowledge on rational arguments in order to defend your beliefs.
Ask yourself before you go: Can I show where Purgatory is in the Bible? Can I explain salvation with the Bible? Can I show where the authority of the Church comes from in the Bible? Can I show from the Bible where Sola Scriptura is not a belief of the apostolic Church? Can I show how it is not against God's will to call priest "father" by pointing out examples in the Bible? Can I show apostolic succession from the Bible? Can I show using the Bible that the Catholic Church cannot be the harlot of Babylon? And many other frequent attacks you'll find on the Church.
The Bibles contains these answers and many more. When you hear coversion stories even from Protestant pastors they say they have read the Bible cover to cover multiple times and never saw those passages. Therefore don't expect to learn about them there. If you don't know about them you could come out weaker in your faith.
