Show me threads, provide links to posts that trash you or WoF beliefs. By that I mean posts that actually trash WoF not just people discussing their own experiences and their own conclusions, I mean posts that are really out to get WOF

Ok then, without using any of those excuses, and blaming others, to excuse yourself, explain to me why you haven't always displayed the fruits of the Spirit in this forum?

Because I'm not perfect. ;)

But the difference is, I'm not using that as an excuse for my behavior. While I acknowledge that I am not perfect, it is not an excuse for me to NOT display the fruits of the Spirit. When I fail, as I will, hopefully someone else is also exhibiting some of the fruits of the Spirit (like "patience" for example) and so the problem is minimized.

There are times when my wife explodes, and I am patient with her. Then again, there are times when I explode, and my wife is patient with me. The point is, we don't just sit back and say, "Well, we'll never be perfect, so our relationship is doomed to fail!" No, we work on it, living a life of humility and repentance toward each other, making allowances for one another.

This is how the body of Christ should function, and I do not see that as an unattainable goal.

I'm genuinely interested in seeing evidence of the problem, so far I've read alot of over emotional hyperbole.

I went to look, but I see the forum has been cleaned of the recent threads where this has happened. Also, I was "paranoid" that if I spent too much time in there, lismore might call me "hostile" or "paranoid" again... :p

YOU took me to task in the ONE thread for having the WOF icon, and now you do this? I too was being accused all the time of WOF that is why I put it there...nice double standard. AND the one thread that is gone was started by someone whining about me not agreeing with them and bragging that he had reported posts. Conveniently gone.

Of course it does . When Muslims say they believe in Jesus but make up a new story about "h"im well, it is easy to get offended . and when satanists write a bible which is the opposite of biblical teaching you know .. it is easy to get offended .

But bringing it out of left field ;) (see above exhibit)

Jesus said . you would be hated by the world because you testify what it teaches is evil .

so now the church is divided . so we know from this symptom that everyone is wrong a little . and those who insist they're right are even more wrong ;) especially from what the bible teaches .

so with worldly teaching as premise for biblical interpretation happening for thousands and hundreds of years there is all sorts of room for "offense"

because none of us are there yet . but if you're humble enough to realize that . you might not notice . and might not mind it a bit .

because you know that the Love that indwells you surpasses all this knowledge so .. it really doesn't matter when it all comes down to it .

Because we do believe the same on many points, and if that be our focus we can fellowship without any friction. I believe the problems come when people try to tell others what to believe, or when they tell them they are wrong for believing what they believe.

The reason I even bring this up is for 2 yrs. I went to a Calvary Chapel, all the while holding fast to what I know is true. But the LORD lead us there for a season. What I saw was it did not interfere with our fellowship at all. There was a deep love. The leadership there knew what we believed, yet permitted us to be in leadership b/c they knew we would not cause division. We respected those in authority as the Word tells us.

If they had said we could not stay there unless we renounced out beliefs, we would not have had the time with them we did. So if one said I could not post in another forum b/c I am WoF and have to stay in my camp, there would be a great many people I could never be with here.

Won't we all be in heaven?

Will the LORD divide is there?

I could see if I made trouble and caused strife something would have to be done.


So you're for the status quo option then?

I agree that leaving things as they are is better then some of the suggestions I've heard.

Actually it was laid out pretty well earlier by someone that suggested two full forums seperated and a couple other things. I am definitely in agreement that there needs to be a seperation along with many others as seen in this thread but the call is not ours it will be up to the owner and the advisors. I just pray that this time it is done.

This is my post and I'm rather proud of it.

It's not an anti-WOF posting in itself, but rather a very accurate description of my WOF-experience. I consider those 10+ years to be a complete waste of my life and will be a regret I will most likely take to my grave.

It's personal about me and WOF only. It has nothing to do with you or any other WOFer. It's my experience alone and I still mean every word of it.

Even if the belief is biblical . if there is a idolatry of the belief and a grasping hand of covetousness of the heart towards it .

it will not be practiced in the power of God's spirit it will be tainted by the pride that comes with such things .

it is important to examine both the inside and the outside .

because it is written "May God be true and every man a liar"

which means what ever we come up with . it will be wrong in some sense so .. it matter the heart and its relation to God's love when coming up with these ideas on how to live with God in your life .

Non-God-Centered doctrines (i.e. covetousness) are supremely serious, which may be why the commandments against it are first two on 10. The worst form of idolatry is to make a god in our own image, and then worship it. Paul warned Timothy about "constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain....But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction." (See 1 Timothy, Chapter 6). In 1 Thessalonians 2:5 For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness—God is witness. In 2 Peter 2:3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.Paul said covetousness is idolatry (Ephesians 5:5) and instructed the Ephesians to avoid anyone who brought a message of covetousness (Ephesians 5:6-7).

Covetousness breeds misery.
