Not sarcasm, just pointing out the absurdity of Jim's denial of reality. In fact, I think he needs this shirt, stat;
i will say that many people do see WOF doctrines as devisive. But i'm sure that we are not the latest nor the last group who will be labeled as such.
Luther was devisive,
Wesley was devisive,
Christ was devisive,and they crucified Him.
Phillip was devisive and he was stoned
Peter was devisive and he was stoned, put in chains, etc.
i think we're in good company.
Then you should have no problem with two different congregational areas
Non-WoF doctrines are divisive.
Would another WoF member please chime in and agree just so we can cancel this ignorance out?

Well at least you're admitting that it's WoF that is the divisive group.
peace,
Simon

OK sounds as good as what was saidNon-WoF doctrines are divisive.

As is a couple of others.As I said in the past, your sarcasm is well-known.
Sometimes, I wonder if people in this forum can read;
Clearly, 3 people (although I'm not sure that qualifies as "many") in this thread see WoF doctrines as "divisive", but in reality, it's just empty rhetoric.
Of course, now that I've posted this, non-WoF people will probably show up in droves to post how "divisive" WoF can be.
But interestingly enough, Jesus Himself said He came to bring division;
Yeah that didnt go very well, they refused to listen as well and that split didnt cause the earth to stand still any more than this well needed split would either.Yep. I can see why there are "divisions" within Christianity. Martin Luther began this even though it was NOT his intent. He was trying to "reform" the RCC by working for biblical reform from within.
As is a couple of others.
Do you think that perhaps these doctrines are misrepresented, slandered, and just plain dragged in the mud? I can see how keeping us one big happy forum is going to really work well. Oh well, we will just lose more members.Why? I've never supported that. Read my post again. I support a WoF, Pentecostal, and non-WoF (or Charismatic with non-WoF sof) forum, with a main Spirit Filled forum for all to discuss/debate.
I also support that the three forums be self-policed, and not be interfered with by other groups.
No, I think the 'prosperity gospel', 'name it and claim it', and 'standing for your healing' are what's divisive.
I've been around many different denominations and types of churches, in a few countries, in the last 25 years, and the non-WoF alternatives to the above three doctrines have never been a problem, not among a huge variety of creeds; that is, except WoF.
peace,
Simon
And a major hinderance to positive things like clear doctrinal beliefs, people joining and staying, etc.Yep. Sin has brought confusion. The wheat grows with the tares, the sheep and the goats coexist together. The hour is coming when the sheep will be divided from the goats and the tares separated from the wheat. The current division between the haves and have not in this area is a major hinderance to evangelism.
Yeah that didnt go very well, they refused to listen as well and that split didnt cause the earth to stand still any more than this well needed split would either.

What makes you think Pdudgeon was just talking about here at CF. I'm aware of WoF doctrines causing problems throughout the church.
But interestingly enough, Jesus Himself said He came to bring division;
Pete, you also sound 'proud' of the division WoF doctrines cause!

Exactly, and what happens in a church or denom where the difference is doctrine? They split to preserve peace and both sides for if they stay together divided they will fall. That is why I wonder why some push so hard to maintain this insanity.Agreeing on "clear doctrinal beliefs" is the issue.
