I notice all your military trappings and US nationalism...looks like your intelligence got its facts wrong again. My tradition (and most real occultists in general) don't use Ouija boards. Those were spiritualists in the 19th century and a board game. We use different methods entirely, and if you saw them you would be amazed at how much they look like your liturgy...except they work. Better luck next time.

Keep showing them true colors, boy. Such an easy straight man...I couldn't have manufactured a better foil for my purposes. Ignorant, belligerent, and proud of it...the perfect Christian.

can you throw at me one of your smart insults ... like the one you throw at master-of-a-bush ^_^

beside being cool

i think the problem with all of us is we tend to want to appear as Godly and heroes, and want to establish justice and condemn evil. but we are all hypocrite on some level. there are evil and inustice happening in our own backyards that we over look and instead focus on judging others

so i am trying as well to give up or limit this attitude by focusing on personal relations with people. you scratch my back, i scratch yours. you be good to me, i be good to you. you be bad to me, i avoid you and move on. this is how as a conservative muslim i find it much easier to live with those who disrespect or stereotype about islam in the west

Who gives Muslims a bad rap in the first place? Who drives the wedge?

Red herring. So what, time to pass on another notorious generalization of yours?

looks like your intelligence got its facts wrong again.

Looks like your intelligence refuses to grasp that I put all you hocus pocus people in the same basket. Your facts are of little substance or significance to me.

if you saw them you would be amazed at how much they look like your liturgy...except they work. Better luck next time.

Too bad the liturgy is based on "reality"! And too bad reality doesn't work for you. It does for all of us faithful.

I couldn't have manufactured a better foil for my purposes.

Is that why you bent out of shape before John in the other thread? See, you talk about all this ignorance trash and all that nonsense, but you fail to realize that "turn the other cheek" doesn't apply to all conditions. You keep dreaming that you got yourself a baffled one, but I am perfectly fine and laughing my rear off your pages long babbling how your kind were wronged.

Ignorant, belligerent, and proud of it...the perfect Christian.

Yep, proud of the heritage that conquered and crushed you, not by might, nor strength, but by spirit, could not resist that one. Go back to your strategy maps to take back your bequest. Good luck.

Oh doo-doo... I didn't realize I hurt you down to the core, I guess I scratched your back too hard, ok, I shake your hand, I still dislike your religion intensely; I feel antipathy and aversion towards it, though you seem to be good people. Don't fall for the half-wits of Mr. Springfield there, he always porks out at the end.

Ok., let’s give you a well deserved shot, francais..

francais said:
Why this hate for Islam?

Hello,

First off, I want to admit.. A few months back, I was very anti Islam. Anyone here could tell you that.

Thankfully though, I promised a member here that I would do more research into Islam and be open minded about it.(The member was Oxy2Hydro)

I have, and have learned a lot. And, I have come to appreciate Islam so much.

Ok, tell me honestly, how long was your study towards the core of Islam and its history? Open minded means ready to entertain new ideas, that also entails a criticism that is undistorted by emotion or personal bias; based on observable phenomena… So what have you done with the observance part? We shall see below…

francais said:
And now as I view this forum, it brings me to tears, because people are so hateful here of Islam. Some people say the meanest things, and make the same accusations over and over.

There is nothing wrong with hating an ideology my friend, you can’t observe daily interactions of people, everyday in the world, many Christians and muslims go to work together, come home together, eat together. I do it all the time, we joke, we laugh and we say “next time…” and leave…

francais said:
Every Muslim on this site has condemned 9/11 and terrorism against innocents.

That is such nonsense, the very person who told you to have an open mind and do research is the one who praised the attacks and told the forum how the attacks brought us to our knees by humiliation and he said this in the summer of 2005. I was stationed in Korea and I remember reading those unpleasant lines like yesterday. Since then I made clear that he will be on FBI’s watch and he put me on his ignore list. Don’t be so naïve, you don’t know these people yet.

francais said:
Many Muslims are pro Palestine, but so what! If you could not go to work without crossing checkpoints, and if your homes were being bulldozed, I am sure you would be pro palestine too.

Did you do an open minded research why we keep sending support to Israel and train their military? Do you remember the Arab-Israel wars? Do you know what happened immediately after Israel declared independence?

francais said:
and then people call Hamas terrorist, simply because they do not recognize Israel.

They are the lowest scum of the earth along with Iranian puppet Hezbollah. When they are not fighting Israelis, they fight each other. We call terrorists, because they arrange to accomplish their cause by killing innocents using terrorist tactics.

francais said:
Well you know, there are MANY Israeli's who are anti Palestine and want them dead. But we always look over this. A good friend of mine named Eliad is lives in Israel. I told him how I did not like his government because they kill a lot of innocents. He said "So, that is good and I hope we kill more, because they are nasty people." And he had a smile on his face too because he was on webcam.

And? You don’t’ like Israeli government so should they lay down their weapons and get slaughtered by the muslim?

francais said:
And sure, many Muslims support the fighters in Iraq. But hey, if 140,000 people invaded your country and pushed and shoved you, wouldn't you?!

Our troops take one step at a time. Mission was to take Saddam out and we accomplished it, then we had to secure Iraq and train them so they could stand on their own. Our goal is to achieve civilian comfort and sovereignty in Iraq. We did make our objective clear to people, and didn’t shove anyone around. Get your facts straight. They woke up late towards co-operation but they are giving us full co-operation to rid more of the scum of extremists.

francais said:
Over 600,000 people have died in Iraq

This is pure, raw, uncooked, horse doo-doo and you know it. That research was highly biased that came up with the number. Further, the situation on ground is clear that to make our troops look bad, they are killing Iraqis. Their neighbors, people that are lied to, come all the way from even Canada. Iraqis are busy trying to get on with their lives; it is your youth that comes in from Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc make the life hard for them.

francais said:
How does this not upset you guys? How can people go to sleep with a straight face knowing this!!!!

We are doing something about it therefore I sleep very well, what about you?

francais said:
Muslims have EVERY right to want US troops out of Iraq, and they have every right to support the "terrorists" who are simply trying to get the troops to leave.

Nonsense, it is Iraqi soil that we are on, a used-to-be secular country which strives to remain democratic. It is not a religious fight; maybe you should take this message to muslims that this is not a crusade.

francais said:
If people invaded your country, and did countless things bad, wouldn't you want them out?!!!

Yes, providing health care, infrastructure, trade, jobs, education, most importantly security, yes we did countless bad things. You have to have guts to tell this to a troop.

francais said:
Sure, many Muslims may support these things.. But how many support killing innocent Jews at a mall, or 9/11, or killing innocent people elsewhere? VERY FEW. And the Muslims on this forum have made it loud and clear many times.

Muslims throughout history made a lot of things clear, and then in the middle of the night, baam, you are attacked. VERY FEW out of 3 billion whatnot is still a VERY LARGE number.

francais said:
Malaysia is Muslim majority, and is a BEAUTIFUL country. So is Jordan, and Syria, and Turkey, and Egypt, and Morocco, and Albania, and Saudi Arabia.

Really, is this remark a result of objective research, when was the last time you visited Saudi? The countries you listed have considerable touristic attractions, and THAT IS ABOUT IT. Life sucks big time there, it is easy for a homosexual to suppose of course!

francais said:
Sure, Islam is an ultra conservative religion. And I, as a neo liberal, do not like that. But Islam had divisions.. There is fiqh, Aqeedah, etc. How often do Muslims worry about killing people for committing adultery?! Not often! Instead, they worry about other issues, more contemporary issues that the average Joe and Joanne would worry about.

You are definitely right. But they have a special place for United States in their hearts.

francais said:
So please, just leave your anti Islam outside. If you sincerely have questions, then go to a MUSLIM FORUM and ask, but do not post the same things here over and over.

Nope, I am not leaving my “anti-Islam” outside. This is the place to criticize it. I don’t put it on pedestal unless my faith is attacked first, by them, that is all! The initial purpose of early Christian Forums with NCR was to answer questions of non-Christians about Christianity, that is it. This place was not meant to be a non-Christians running amok attacking Christianity. You came, asked, you got your response, and you left. It was not a promote Islam or atheism place.

francais said:
If you hate Islam, then that is your right.. But please, do not let it out by making hate threads. Instead, go boxing or something to let your bigotry out.

Dudette, define me a “hate” thread, really… You should visit http://www.christiandiscussionforums.org and go to its Islam section.

francais said:
Change is needed.

Yes, change is needed, for a change, get some body supplements, hit the gym, put on some muscles, eat right, sleep tight, go take a liking in a GIRL, take her on a date and stop being queer. Change is needed, can you do it?

francais said:
I would also like to apologize to all Muslims about my behavior here just a few months ago. I was so mean and I made so many false claims and I was so close minded. I hope you guys know that I have changed those views, and I hope you will forgive me for being so rude in the past.

Quite an emotional moment, are you going through a stage of life maybe? What false claims did you make?

francais said:
I just had to let this all out. If you are a Muslim hater ….

Being a muslim hater and islam hater are different things. You didn’t know that. Noone hates muslims here. We don’t want their religion shoved down in our throats.

Looks like your intelligence refuses to grasp that I put all you hocus pocus people in the same basket. Your facts are of little substance or significance to me.

Too bad the liturgy is based on "reality"! And too bad reality doesn't work for you. It does for all of us faithful.

Yep, proud of the heritage that conquered and crushed you, not by might, nor strength, but by spirit, could not resist that one. Go back to your strategy maps to take back your bequest. Good luck.

So, by your logic I suppose the Roman Church handed your unknown and uncared about "ancient way" their collective rear ends oh-so-long-ago because of their "spirit"? And you have had to share your patriarchal seats with Islam (under their rule) because of their "spirit"? And how about good old Russia...I suppose the godless atheists also conquered by their "spirit"?

And that is the rub, is it not, little Christian? Your faith has never been less relevant to the world since its inception than it is today, particularly your variety. You claim my gods have been relegated to fantasy, and while that is (as usual from you) completely unrelated to the reality you claim to have such a grip on (at least the Sun and worshipers can actually see the Sun, as opposed to the "Son" worshipers), perhaps they are fantasy. I, as any other religious person, believe some strange things that most people would find irrational and unevidenced.

But that process happened because your god supplanted them, as your god is too being supplanted by the new god, Science. Your believers may pray and mine may work magicks, but for both of us, when their children are sick they pray at the altar of Science, in its aspect as Medicine. When it comes time to pay the dues for their existence, they sacrifice to its aspect as Technology. That's "reality", and the only difference between my "fantasy" gods and your "fantasy" god is time. Already Jesus is a character on South Park, a bit part on the Simpsons, a bit part in a vampire novel, the star of two musicals, and the star of (my personal favorite) Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Hell, George Burns played your god three times, and the devil once to boot. I've personally headshotted multiple "Jesus Christ"s in first person shooter games (and enjoyed every second).

If you really want to talk about who's winning, it's none of us...it's good old scientific materialism. When they are sick and unhappy they go to the doctor, when they are healthy and happy they go to entertainment or work. Even the believers, when push comes to shove, turn to science to meet their needs and desires.

So perhaps my gods have been relegated to fantasy, but your god is on his way. And, in the dim future, what ghastly gods will Science beget to take its place?

Hmmm...I suppose you have caught me in a pensive mood, I am not quite as insulting as I intended.

Uhhhh....raaaa!....grrrr!....*insert display-of-testosteroney-goodness here*!

LOL, "uncared about"... Why do you feel so little against the whole Church? You will physically hurt yourself with that "uncared about" hatred.

And you have had to share your patriarchal seats with Islam (under their rule) because of their "spirit"? And how about good old Russia...I suppose the godless atheists also conquered by their "spirit"?

Church still stands, doctrine still intact, where is Odin? Crushed.

And that is the rub, is it not, little Christian?

No, that is not a rub, that is a demonstration of utmost ignorance. I am the ObiWan of this game, I win at the end, and I win ALWAYS.

Your faith has never been less relevant to the world since its inception than it is today, particularly your variety.

Sure sure, that is why the chart is as follows;

400px-Worldwide_percentage_of_Adherents_by_Religion.png

Where is Odin again?

You claim my gods have been relegated to fantasy

Believe what you want, World of Warcraft was simply inspired by pagan fables and struggles including yours, and you play the game for real...

But that process happened because your god supplanted them, as your god is too being supplanted by the new god, Science.

Read more on this field bookworm, my faith never meant to attempt to deal with science as science has its place. No don't tell me no Copernicus, Galileo inquisition bullsh@t. I don't adhere to the cause of man abusing the faith itself.

I feel pity now, you are just a little kid trapped in a 30 year old body, it is amusing, this is supposed to encounter my Wow remarks? Oh don't forget "Family Guy"...

If you really want to talk about who's winning, it's none of us...it's good old scientific materialism. When they are sick and unhappy they go to the doctor, when they are healthy and happy they go to entertainment or work. Even the believers, when push comes to shove, turn to science to meet their needs and desires.

This is a good twist of the topic, maybe I would worship science when they create life out of nothing and raise the dead.

So perhaps my gods have been relegated to fantasy, but your god is on his way. And, in the dim future, what ghastly gods will Science beget to take its place?

 Wishful thinking...

Hmmm...I suppose you have caught me in a pensive mood, I am not quite as insulting as I intended.

*insert Ben's Death And Tie Fighter Attack track here* Like I said, I am Obi Wan, Lord Vader. I win at the end and I always WIN, regardless of whatever you throw at me.

Uhhhh....raaaa!....grrrr!....*insert display-of-testosteroney-goodness here*!

Bushmaster - I was going to respond, and even had all the parts quoted to respond. but then I saw what you said towards the end, and figured that you are not even worth my time to respond.
Yes, change is needed, for a change, get some body supplements, hit the gym, put on some muscles, eat right, sleep tight, go take a liking in a GIRL, take her on a date and stop being queer. Change is needed, can you do it?
Why do you always feel the need to bring my personal life into everything? Every time I post, whether you respond to me in EO, or here, is about homosexuality. That is all you ever bug me with. You always have something mean to say, even when homosexuality is totally off topic of what I am talking about.

I do hit the gym, every day from 5-6. I jog 4 miles a day, which is at least more then most. I am a vegetarian and eat three meals a day and two snacks, no more, no less. I take vitamin pills and protein/iron pills to ensure i get the proper nutrition. I sleep well every night, with my BOYFRIEND.

Why does it offend you so much that I am gay? Why do you feel that I need to "change", even though it is impossible for me to change? (and if you want we can discuss this in PM, about whether or not it is a choice.)

Just leave me alone. Because all you ever do is change the topic and speak about my sexuality which is irrelevant. Just please, put me on ignore, and do not respond to me again. I no longer wish to talk to you.

-Kyle

Ok let's deal with it, you are getting too emotional.

Too bad you think like that, I wonder if you could imagine how I react to the unfounded slanders you pass on about my troops.

Why do you always feel the need to bring my personal life into everything? Every time I post, whether you respond to me in EO, or here, is about homosexuality. That is all you ever bug me with. You always have something mean to say, even when homosexuality is totally off topic of what I am talking about.

Actually, you asked for a change, a change which theologically we can't embrace, politically we would lose if we do so, what I am saying is, you base your responses on emotions without throughly thinking them over. I know you are going to say, I can't change that I am homosexual, how do you expect West to change to embrace Islam in full potential, or how do you expect us to change when we see our faith getting attacked everyday. Make a differentiation between hating islam and the person, muslim.

Why are you telling me this? This was not the core of my concern if you get hit in the rear everyday...

Why does it offend you so much that I am gay? Why do you feel that I need to "change", even though it is impossible for me to change? (and if you want we can discuss this in PM, about whether or not it is a choice.)

Why? You turned into an atheist in one day because these religions don't let you follow your lifestyle. It is a choice whatever twist you give it to. One day devout catholic, the next day I am gay therefore I am atheist, this is what you demonstrated. Note, your title says you love torah.

Just leave me alone. Because all you ever do is change the topic and speak about my sexuality which is irrelevant. Just please, put me on ignore, and do not respond to me again. I no longer wish to talk to you.

Long story short, you don't hold credibility in my eyes to comment on religious issues, whether it be Biblical, or Quran-related. Your opinions of these, and further on political issues such as 9/11 and our current theaters of operation are not necessary. You are not in a position to present your emotions to people as valid arguments... Hamas? 600.000 innocent dead, come on now... I am not a Westboro church type of fanatic, but I despise your lifestyle, you have rights as a human being and enjoy those.

Bushmaster - If you do not find my arguments credible, then please be my guest and block me, so you no longer have to see my posts. That way, you will not comment on what I say, and you can leave me alone.

I am open for debate on your Bible any time though.. Just send me a PM.

But, besides debating the Bible, I would prefer not to speak with you anymore, because you are not a nice person who I would like to speak to anymore. You used to be nice, but lately you seem no longer the same. Which is weird because your wife is such a nice person. You would think that she would be some sort of influence to you. I guess not.

Bushmaster - I was going to respond, and even had all the parts quoted to respond. but then I saw what you said towards the end, and figured that you are not even worth my time to respond.

LOL, "uncared about"... Why do you feel so little against the whole Church? You will physically hurt yourself with that "uncared about" hatred.

Church still stands, doctrine still intact, where is Odin? Crushed.

No, that is not a rub, that is a demonstration of utmost ignorance. I am the ObiWan of this game, I win at the end, and I win ALWAYS.

Sure sure, that is why the chart is as follows;

400px-Worldwide_percentage_of_Adherents_by_Religion.png

Where is Odin again?

Believe what you want, World of Warcraft was simply inspired by pagan fables and struggles including yours, and you play the game for real...

Read more on this field bookworm, my faith never meant to attempt to deal with science as science has its place. No don't tell me no Copernicus, Galileo inquisition bullsh@t. I don't adhere to the cause of man abusing the faith itself.

I feel pity now, you are just a little kid trapped in a 30 year old body, it is amusing, this is supposed to encounter my Wow remarks? Oh don't forget "Family Guy"...

This is a good twist of the topic, maybe I would worship science when they create life out of nothing and raise the dead.

 Wishful thinking...

*insert Ben's Death And Tie Fighter Attack track here* Like I said, I am Obi Wan, Lord Vader. I win at the end and I always WIN, regardless of whatever you throw at me.

Inserting; Grab your d@ck and double click. Internet is for pron.

Funny how none of that approaches my points at all. Of course, posturing and proclaiming victory when it is not even in sight much less assured is exactly what I would expect from you. How's that "Surge" doing? Is "Victory Accomplished" yet? In fact the Iraq war is a perfect analogy for Christianity...a bunch of people where they aren't wanted, proclaiming victory when they have no clue what's going on, and who can't win even when they have every possible advantage, proclaiming moral superiority while slaughtering by the thousands. Hypocritical self-interest masquerading as "goodness" who can't tell when everyone hates you...what do you know, I guess America is a "Christian nation"!

Whatever, kid. Sure, life is a movie, you're the "good guy", and at the end you will get a medal from god. Sophisticated worldview you have there, Clitus. Got a brother name Bubba and a sister-wife named Lurleen to go along with it?

Here we have it folks, our "Obi-Wan" and his bride, heroes of modern American Christianity!
