Why the heck did God make Neanderthals?

Why did God make two coexisting and competing intelligent hominids? Why did he give Cro-Magnons souls and deny them to Neanderthals and let them go extinct? Why did God love once race less?

That's like asking why did God create Ducks? Who the heck knows. There is no reference to them in scripture, I could make a wild guess and say he just wanted to.

I don't know. I suspect that only God can answer these questions.

I am not sure about other people, but I have a list of such imponderables (not including this one, however), which I am taking to eternity with me. I expect on the Pearly Gates we will see a long sheet of paper, headed; FAQs, Item 1, Suffering, yes there is a point to it all.

I believe that was a Co-Existence issue of the Humanoids, not God.

Perhaps an explanation can be found in Gen. 6:1-7

1 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years." 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them."

Most Bible scholars think the "sons of God" are fallen angels, which, if they mated with women might yield, at least in my imagination, a being similar in looks to the Neanderthal (at least what they have been portrayed as looking like).

In verse 4, the KJV translates "Nephilim" as giants. But this does not necessarily mean as in "stature." Strong's shows it to also mean "bully" or "tyrant," which could go along with "men of renown." Not necessarily a good kind of renown. It might mean that they were vicious and evil.

Anyway, I think it is possible that the Neanderthal and other hominids could have been the result of these unions. Their destruction in the Flood would have resulted in some of them being caught and covered up by layers and layers of sediment as the flood waters receded. Of course we all know that this is where we find them today, along with all the myriad other creatures that were covered by the Flood.

Most Bible schollars do not believe this!! They say the sons of God are those with faith and the daughters of men are those without. Angels don't have physical bodies, as such they can't reproduce!!

I understand that what we label as "Neanderthals" were just normal human beings. You can check this out but I believe science supports this (though not every scientist). Therefore there would be no distinction between Neanderthals and any other human being.

There are lots of weird things that have been dug up over the years, including a thirty foot skeleton of what appears to be a humanoid type giant, and there have been other of various sizes. The time and how old question means nothing to God as time is relative to His will and He can control it. We just observe what He has done and what those others that may have powers in time and eternity can do. The other great power, satan, also has powers that allow him to operate between dimensions (Job 1), and who knows what deceptions he will come uo with over the limits we experience in time??
If you buried me and left me a couple hundred years, ran me over with a bull dozer a few time and then dug me up, I might be mistaken for a neanderthal. Some of us just ain't that good lookin' in the first place ......
