  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Title basically says it all. Why should people be happy as opposed to unhappy? Why is happiness important?

very good question,

there is nothing bad in this the humans to be happy, but when we see that some human is in trouble, then it is good to be committed in provision of help being quite earnest, this especially applies to the activity in the faith, because if even some human did something bad, then the believers are exactly those who must always show perfect love

1 John 4:12-18 "No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit(viz. of His Love)..... Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment(ie when we continue working for the overall salvation even in severest moments): because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment(ie because there is non-salvation and perdition in the fear which (tries) make(-s) us not to love). He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

Blessings
