WHY ARE THERE NEVER ANY DECENT TOURS IN THE UK!!!!!

For Example:
Sea Of Faces tour in the US
Tooth and Nail tour in the US

ANY TOUR WITH BANDS I LOVE NEVER COME TO ENGLAND!!

i saw Lifehouse in september and Yfriday with Steve in November i think but they're the nearest things to BIG christian rock tours that i've heard of we have here.

Makes me SOOOOOO annoyed!!!!
might make my own record label in the future to stop this happening :prayer:

thebandwithnoname aren't THAT bad - one reminds me of chester from Linkin park so it cant be all bad. not my thing either but they do get the crowd goin.

i forgot that American tours are almost like doin a European tour because it's so huge so if its a state too far away thats like travelling over a couple of countries! but still if they came to England i would travel to any city to go see a tour like "tooth and nail" or "sea of faces"!!

btw - speaking of tours - look out for a band called "Dweeb" if they come near any of you. I recently saw them perform when the band i PA for were supporting them and WOW - they put on a show, just them and their instruments!! they just released an EP and are on the same label as "steve" ((NGM) i think? ). goto www.dweebmusic.co.uk to find out more

The way I see it (and this is based only on my own perceptions) is that the entire of Europe (I'm from Belgium and live in Norway) doesn't care enough about their religion and their relationship to God. So they don't care about Christian Music, even though they call themselves christians. A lot of my friends believe that life is more important than what you believe in, or that you should believe in life, and I used to think that way too (I'm still not free of those ideas).
But I think that's the main reason. Kind of sad...

Im sure if heard of a British one, Premier? Never listened or even tried to before to be honest and all the satallite 'God' channels are from the US so. I find many people are concerned with trivial ideas like hair cuts, or shoes, or computers, or cars so they have less time to listen to christain music (so ive been todl by some)

I feel that too, and sometimes I catch myself redhanded, fantasizing about a big CD collection or an incredibly expensive guitar, a fast car I could never afford and the likes.
Luckely the pop culture never interested me.
Also something that I feel is that religion comes with age in today's Western world. A lot of young people seemingly don't care but they might wonder but not hold any importance to it. While when growing up starting to believe in something is almost unavoidable.
I'm currently in an exchange student year where I met a lot of interesting people who introduced me to Jesus and I'm kind of scared I won't find them again when I travel back home (to Belgium).

Weve gone off-topic, oops!
Yeah, no doubt. Im sure we all do that. Its sometimes so hard to focus on the cross when you get your pay cheque.
There is so much out there for young people that they feel no need for God, when God is there only real need.
If, when you go home, you start looking for christians, and i mean looking, not just going to church every week, but joining a CU orChristian Organisation then there will be people there who can help you. At least I pray there is.

Lets get back on topic:
Yeah there never any UK tours!

hehe ;) thanks... well...
I posted my share and it indeed is sad. If there were more I might even cross the pass and jump into England (where I've never been, can you believe that) and catch a concert.
Luckely I get my concert satisfaction with non-christian (or neutral, currently being discussed in another thread) bands.

England has no christian radio or anything to promote the music. Bottem line, they wouldn't make any money.
We do actually have one, it's the cross rhythms radio station.

We really do need more christian radio sites/stations.

I think that it is a niche market!

(Sorry i had to be smart and show off!)
