why movie theaters suck

2 friends and I go to see the passion. I buy a ticket, they didnt ask for my ID. my friends go to get their tickets, they are too young to buy alone, not of age, so being like any other honest people, they have a girls mom come with us to buy their tickets. it was then that the movie theater informed us that we must have a parent over 21 sit with them. so now i have a ticket, and they cant go see it cause they are "too young" to see a film about the Christ. Fine, I guess thats fair and all but it still makes me tick. the ironic thing is this....they didnt ask for my ID, and I look way younger than my friends who came with me that were not aloud in. grrr......

At least it's nice to see a movie theater following the rules for once. Hopefully they do that for ALL their R rated films.

I think the point is the theater didn't follow the rules. The girls got screwed over because they themselves volunteered to follow the rules, and then had more rules slapped down on them.

the orginal rules up till that point was that an adult only has to sign their tickets and they can go in the movie. When the rules changed, I dont know. I asked the theater if I could act as the adult because I was of age, but they said that it had to be someone over 21 that had to sit in the theater with them. i understand its the rules, but they are silly.
