If God can form a man fully grown, I imagine he would probably start out with a garden that was also fully grown.

In Genises 2:6-9, it ays that God planted the garden in Eden and that He made the trees spring up. To me, this says that God planted and immediately, they were full-grown so that Adam and Eve would have fruit to eat.

Oh, in Fenesis 2, the chronology is that God man man, then created the garden and then put man into the garden. Since God made the garden spring up, the trees would be grown with fruit when God placed man in the garden.

Ah, the account from Genesis 2. I think most people when they think of the creation account remember Genesis 1.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Gen 1:3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. Gen 1:4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. Gen 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
Gen 1:6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." Gen 1:7 And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. Gen 1:8 And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
Gen 1:9 And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. Genesis 1:9-13 gives the impression that God spoke trees bearing fruit and seeds into existence and it was done. This is not to say there is a contradiction between Genesis 1 & 2, but Genesis 2 has always been a more detailed account of creation.

One needs to include chatter 2 as it has lots of information in it about the creation. Weneed to let the Bible interpret ten Bible

That's true and my point is that chapter 1 gives the impression that the trees that bore fruit and seeds were created full grown, not that God grew them super fast, and then placed man in the garden.

Not that I can see in chapter 1, but we do see this in chapter 1:

From these verses can we not conclude, based upon what we read in chapter 2, that the garden must have been part of the earth, but just not mentioned in chapter 1 for some reason?

Well, again, I don't read it that way. The two sentences are not necessarily chronological. In other words, the one sentence says He planted a garden and placed the man in it. The next sentence says that God caused the ground there to sprout up "every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food." Since He planted the garden before the man was placed there, the ground was sprouting up plants already. The second sentence simply clarifies what plants were springing up. The bottom line, however, is that there were plants there before the man was there.
