Except not only did you make something up, you also came to a conclusion that atheists generally disagree with. And you only acknowledged saying I typed something I obviously didn't after calling me rude. But did I falsely claim something about you? No.

Is acting immorally how you win others over?

Your entire explanation is garbage. At the start, you explain why Yahweh would put conscious creatures in a universe full of good and evil... you say it's because emotions are more real than the universe. But that is utter stupidity. Emotions are electrical patterns within our brain, affected in part by chemicals in our blood stream. Emotions can be changed with medicine, mental disease, and mental states. Thus from the very beginning your thesis is the result of a person terribly, terribly confused about how the universe works. It belongs more in a fantasy book about hobbits and trolls than in sort of serious discussion about the real world we live in.

Your understanding of emotions is garbage, the story was utter stupidity, you are terribly, terribly confused, and whole thing does belong in a fantasy book. If you would like to challenge those things, feel free to do so. However, you lying about what I have said, then refusing to apologize is unethical.

Atheists can be rude, but so can theists. I assumed he was an atheist because of his mocking of religious beliefs.

Seriously, though, a god that rapes, murders, commands infanticide, hides real evidence of himself, and sets people on fire for trillions of years because they couldn't believe he was real... that god is much, MUCH, worse than one that walks away from the keyboard after typing "bang".

I do not think I misrepresented the beliefs of Deists when describing how they view their idea of god. I would appreciate the same courtesy but I don't expect it.

Okay, I hope I wasn't offensive, as I was unaware or had forgotten your condition and thought you were being purposely difficult. My point had nothing to do with the mechanics of the brain. It was basically a comment about the fact that many people misuse their brains by prioritizing their intellectual activity toward stupidity like filling hours playing video games about imaginary city building or finding their vocation in following the relationship problems of celebrities. It was not the workings of the brain I was talking about but the occupation that people engage their brains to work upon.

Religious people mock each other's beliefs all the time, even Christians with Christians of different denominations do that on a regular basis

This is true, but BlueLightning was not merely mocking a particular religious belief, but belief in Yahweh. That can be perceived (sometimes falsely) as atheist. Yes, there are other gods that people can believe in.

I wasn't mocking religious beliefs at all - I was accurately describing your essay in the first post of this thread. Your beliefs that emotions are "more real" than the universe is not scientific nor factual. It is, in fact, garbage.
