Why is Jesus the Word?

I actually like this kabbalistic concept. When I am not a nerd or bible teacher, this construct reminds me of string theory. The idea that everything is made of 'musical' vibrating subatomic strings. I think in this orchestra there are probably 22 notes with multiple octaves.

Does the parallel of 10 dimensions of string theory and 10 commandments speak anything to you? And why 22 notes, is that a quarter tone scale?

Why is Jesus referred to as the Word? What is the significance? I can understand 'son of god' and such, but what does it mean to be the Word, and how exactly is the world created through the Word?

I believe it's because He is the Way, THE TRUTH, and the Life.

It seems whenever the bible speaks about the 'word' it's in reference to 'truth'...


(Psa 119:43) And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thine ordinances.

(Psa 119:142) Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.

(Psa 119:160) The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever.

(Pro 8:7) For my mouth shall utter truth; And wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

I worked it out, a 1/4 tone scale would have 23 notes, BUT we could slice it up in some more Jewish tuning rather than our Western and easily arrive at 22 and give it more L'chiem! Anyway everything about string theory lines up PERFECTLY with not only the Bible but G-d's own Nature; no conflicts IMHO. I won't state any opinion on 10 dimensions, but as an intellectual exercise wrapping your head around them is fun ...

The perfect law of liberty. The 10 dimensional idea I worked through claimed no more were possible, as all possibilities were exhausted. Now I gotta work through M-theory too?!? Makes me think the first 10 are all different?

I had a copy of the complete works of Richard Feynman and like Albert Einstein, I am convinced that God does not play dice and also that anyone who thinks they truly understand the intricacies of quantum physics has not really understood or considered deeply enough what they are saying. To fully understand it would lead to one losing his mind (in all truth). I think the ToE is just to big to comprehend.
