Its funny that a previous poster said that as education level goes up, religious beliefs go down.
I believe that to be totally opposite, as a pagan I was headed to nowheresville, as a believer my life is totally alive. Could be a coincidence, but the majority of people that I have seen that have their lives held together are believers.

The basic reason is lack of education. The southern states of the US have a much lower educational standard, and where education levels go up, religious belief goes down.

Which, of course, makes the question why do the southern states of the US have such a low educational standard compared to the more northern states?

We are everywhere. We are your doctors, your lawyers, your teachers, your policemen. You aren't doing such a fabulous job of "running us back in", are you now?
