I have been trying that, but I honestly feel nothing, Just blank. Is it possible that Jesus is withholding Himself from me for some reason?

I good test might be if you have the fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) after spending that time feeling nothing. Experiencing his presence is more of an intuitive feeling or a state of being imo. There's also talking, but a lot of it is other forms of communication.

i think this is where my ocd and depersonalization comes in. those two combines make me careless one second and care the next. it makes me feel a lot of the time that nothing is real but i know it is.
Let me ask you a question...are you willing to lose your OCD or at least that excuse when it comes to the things of God? It's a hard question that should take time to search your soul/spirit to identify the answer.

Lots of times we allow crutches to keep us from God. For example, my past abuses give me an excuse to behave certain ways. It's my excuse sometimes for not being who God wants and needs me to be. Thus, the sin that comes from the pride of life. Unforgiveness is another big one that people use to hold onto their selves and who they want to be, rather than simply letting go and let God have even that. It can be anything, our drive, our sexuality, our passions, our position in the world or family unit. We hid from God behind excuses, when in reality, His Love leaves us without excuse. Is your OCD your excuse? What other excuses might you have been holding onto? You have to get rid of all the excuses.

what else might be hidden that is keeping you from God? All this is between you and God, but something is keeping you from the peace that the indwelling HS brings and that is some kind of sin.

Let's explore how you Love God. Do you Love Him? If so, how do you Love Him? do you Love Him with a broken and contrite heart, with an alive spirit/soul, with a renewed mind, with your strength mingled with the strength of the HS? How do you Love Him?

I think it is with a broken heart and a hear that is afraid of being abandoned and left(like my mom did me when I was 9).

ah...that is a very real possibility. Maybe we have fit the nail on the head. fear is a very powerful tool that Satan uses to keep us from the good things God has for us. Fear can even paralyze us so that we fail to move forward in our lives. What you mother did, by leaving you was horrible. I battled understanding how God could Love me when my father was abusive, my mother was abusive, even my siblings were abusive. The truth however is that God is not a human that He should sin as those in our lives have sinned. He is the righteous, pure Lamb of God that is so holy that He cannot even look upon sin. If He can't look upon sin, He certainly isn't able to sin like your mother sinned against you. God does have some human characteristics that make Him understandable to us, but He is not human and therefore has characteristics apart from us as well. Talk to God about how your mother made you feel and how that is a stumbling block for you when it comes to Him. Ask Him to teach you how to trust Him, how to see His faithfulness through the blinders you have placed over your eyes.

May you find the peace that passes all understanding, may you discover a God that can be trusted with every aspect of your life, may your every fear give way to peace and trust in the ONE whose Love is without fault.

does it mean im saved since i believe that the only way to Heaven is throuhgt trusting in Jesus Christs death snd ressurection ?
none of us can answer the question as to whether or not you are saved. That is for God alone, but He does promise to give us a guarantee of our salvation. That guarantee is the Holy Spirit. A HS that dwells within and leaves His mark on our lives (Gal. 5:22-23) That is the only guarantee you will have, that which God gives you. That being said, I personally will guarantee that you can trust God to be true to His word.

Have you forgiven your mother? father? God? for what happened to you at 9? Forgiveness is huge and removes a weight off of us that is suffocating and destructive if left to grow. You can get rid of both, that is to say, you can learn to trust God instead of living in fear that He will abandon you and you can live a life free of unforgiveness, but it is done in God's power and your efforts rather than trying to do it alone. Go to God and pour out your heart. Tell Him your fears and anger and all that. Cry till there are no tears left within you to cry and then, quiet yourself and listen to Him whisper sweet nothings in your ear.

easier said than done, but now, you just watch as He transforms your life and you continue yielding to Him. Maturing in Christ takes time as another poster pointed out. If you really have given this to Him, He will make good come of it as He promises.

then see what God wants to do in you. He is the God of Love, a Love that changes situations and transforms lives. Let Him change you, just make sure you aren't fighting HIm in the process.
How do I do this? By Praying and asking Him to do what He wills in my life?

yep and yielding your will over to His will.

I still get the feeling from your posts that you want to hang onto the abandonment you felt when your mom left. That is understandable, the problem is, as long as you hang on to it, God can't free you from it. He came to set us from from sin and death. That isn't just the sins we commit but also the sins that others commit against us. Your mom sinned against you, but you don't have to live in the pain and betrayal you felt as a result of that sin. Christ came to set you free even from that. Let Him have it, He will bring beauty from the ashes if you let Him.

Ok, I will pray that He will help me to get rid of hanging on to that abandonment feeling.

that is always the first step, being willing to let go...do be sure it isn't just a formula to get what you want though, but rather an honest result of your Love for Him

;) Two passages I want you to work on memorizing and making a part of your daily life. The first is Numbers 23:19 Pick whatever version you want. (HCSB) God is not a man who lies,
or a son of man who changes His mind.
Does He speak and not act,
or promise and not fulfill?

and Proverbs 3:5-6 (HCSB) Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Put these passages in your heart, in your mind, put them on cards and put those cards around your house, in our car, wherever you spend time. When you doubt, remind yourself of these passages and how trust is a choice of who you put your trust in. Remind yourself that God is not your mother and can in fact be trusted. Make these two passages part of your every moment of every day.
