I love what my pastor said:

"America is full of churches from one end to the other; and that's just the way the Devil wants it."

Indeed.

Science does not deal with god(s) or magic. Science only deal with the physical universe.

if it just appeared please explain the scientific rules that cause life to appear.
Rule #1: Get some matter (supplied by the Big Bang).
Rule #2: Apply energy to said matter.
Rule #3: Call it "abiogenesis".
Rule #4: Claim you don't know how it started.

Perhaps you should also ask him why you were so lucky to get that kind of confirmation that he exists.

Get real Either life just appeared or it was created. if it just appeared please explain the scientific rules that cause life to appear.
The origin of life is, as I understand it, presently a mystery from the scientific perspective. This does not mean it is an insoluble mystery, just that it is a mystery right now.

And so?

You appear to imply that the absence of a naturalistic explanation in the present means that the scientists are somehow playing games.

Such a conclusion is, of course, entirely unwarranted.

It's a game called: connect-the-dots.

Claim:

“Many scientists reject evolution and support creationism.” --- Morris, Henry. 1980. The ICR scientists. Impact 86 (Aug.). *http://www.icr.org/index.php?module=articles&action=view&ID=163

Response:

Of the scientists and engineers in the United States, only about 5% are creationists, according to a 1991 Gallup poll (Robinson 1995, Witham 1997). However, this number includes those working in fields not related to life origins (such as computer scientists, mechanical engineers, etc.). Taking into account only those working in the relevant fields of earth and life sciences, there are about 480,000 scientists, but only about 700 believe in "creation-science" or consider it a valid theory (Robinson 1995). This means that less than 0.15 percent of relevant scientists believe in creationism. And that is just in the United States, which has more creationists than any other industrialized country. In other countries, the number of relevant scientists who accept creationism drops to less than one tenth of 1 percent.

Additionally, many scientific organizations believe the evidence so strongly that they have issued public statements to that effect (NCSEd). The National Academy of Sciences, one of the most prestigious science organizations, devotes a Web site to the topic (NAS 1999). A panel of seventy-two Nobel Laureates, seventeen state academies of science, and seven other scientific organizations created an amicus curiae brief which they submitted to the Supreme Court (Edwards v. Aguillard 1986). This report clarified what makes science different from religion and why creationism is not science.

***

Reasons why science is not a religion:

1. Science by its very nature can not address the spiritual or supernatural realm and as a result cannot make claims about the supernatural.

2. Science has no sacred places, objects or times.

3. Science has no rituals based on sacred places, objects or times.

4. Science has no moral code based on supernatural origin or religious authority.

5. Science has no prayer or appeal to the supernatural.

6. Scientific theories are derived from observation and experiment not from revelation or religious authority as are doctrines or dogmas.

7. Scientific theories are not fixed for all time but can be refuted or modified on the basis of new evidence.

This being said, individual scientists frequently have religious beliefs including Christianity.

No, you may play games but science is no game.
Science is now a quasi-realistic method of doing God's will.

It is infested with tares.

A good way to describe it would be like a missionary with Alzheimer's disease to the point where he no longer recognizes God as his Father.

Romans 1:28a And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind,

Yes, that's what science is.

It's now a philosophy of an antiChristian way of thinking and viewing things.

”Mother nature” is a metaphysical concept akin to god(s) that I dont belive in.

We pretty much know how storms are caused, no magic needed.
