As to whether or not they POSSESS salvation is between them and the LORD.
You’ve touched on a significant theological point. John the Baptist indeed emphasized repentance as a precursor to salvation, followed by water baptism as an outward sign of an inward change. This aligns with the practice of baptizing those who profess their faith and salvation.

The distinction between professing and possessing salvation is profound. While we can observe and affirm someone’s profession of faith, the true state of their heart and their relationship with God is ultimately known only to the Lord. This underscores the importance of personal faith and the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in an individual’s life.

We don't know, because the were not written, so how can we "teach" them?
many of Jesus’ commands are recorded in red letters in the Gospels. Here are some key ones:

  1. Love God and your neighbor: Jesus emphasized the importance of loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and loving your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39).
  2. Repent: Jesus began His ministry by calling people to repent (Matthew 4:17).
  3. Follow Me: He invited people to follow Him and become His disciples (Matthew 4:19).
  4. Let your light shine: Jesus encouraged His followers to let their good deeds shine before others (Matthew 5:16).
  5. Be reconciled: He taught the importance of reconciliation with others (Matthew 5:23-24).
  6. Love your enemies: Jesus instructed to love and pray for those who persecute you (Matthew 5:44).
  7. Make disciples: In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything He had commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

Repent is not a command it is something happening from within, is is impossible to command someone to repent, be reconciled is not a command, you cannot reconcile on command, love your enemies is not a command, even in the christian nations they hate their enemies, make disciples is not a command, it is also happening from within, you can't say: Repent and be reconciled and love your enemies and become a disciple or else. That can be done with the Law of Moses because the Israelite said they would keep it. Exo. 24:3, which was given to Israel.

The commands He told them are nowhere written, Mat. 28:20 says "... all things whatsoever I have commanded you ...". Don't forget the Lord Jesus opened their minds to the Scriptures Luke 24:4 and taught them for 40 days Acts 1:3, of which none of it is written in Scripture. Since all these words were spoken to Israel, there is a commandment that says Mat. 10:5 "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, "Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:" 6 "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."". But that is not what is meant in Mat. 28:20.

Then why are we having this conversation?
Maybe Acts 1:5 will be better understood >

Acts 1:5 reads , For John indeed BAPTIZED with water ,

but you will be BAPTIZED with Holy Sprit

It shows two different ways TRANSLATE what the Greek word BAPTISM , means !!

# 1 Can be translated WATER BAPTISM !!

# 2 Can be Translated , PLACED into Holy Spirit .

I was looking for some common ground that we both agree on, but that does not seem to be happening.
Why not stay in the dispensational section and explore ??
