That's just it Basil . . . we have been listening to your criticisms of our faith, but when you are asked to back them up with objective evidence, there is little to be found in what, 80 pages?

Critical analysis requires objective evidence and proper use of logic and analyisis . . this you have not provided.

but because truth matters to us, we must differentiate between, what is, in our view, the counterfeit, "catholic" church, and the one which is truly universal. There is no way to contrast the two, without giving our estimation of the Roman Catholic religion, so why be offended. Start a thread about Why you're Roman Catholic . . . and others may want to be too.

So you started a thread not to tell othes why you are Orthodox, but to expose the "counterfeit" . . ie the Catholic Church . . . I see . .

Why be offended? I have explained many times in this thread already BASil . .but you appear not to be listening. . . . the negative statements made about our Church with NO objective evidence to back it up, even after it has been asked for.

Why do you need to discuss US, Our Catholic faith in such a negative fashion in order to convince others that they should consider yours?

The only ones who will listen to such a tactic are those who are predisposed against the Catholic Church already. Those who are not will see through it, and in fact some have challenged on this too . ..


Now, if I started a thread about why I am Catholic and why others should consider it, I would have no need of comparing Catholicism to Orthodoxy or any other religion.

Why? Catholicism does not need to put down any one else's faith.

It stands on its own two feet,


It doesn't need to be supported by the wounded bodies others.


However, it seems that Orthodoxy needs to wound Catholicism in order to stand . . .
