I think that there is a valid spiritual reason that the one constant of human history over the past 2500 years has been anti-Semitism.
The Jews, with their Bible, are the ones who have introduced the world to God, and that is something that the world will never forgive them for, as long as there is a single Jew still breathing.
There is no moral compulsion in polytheistic or pagan belief systems. You say the right magic incantations and you reap the right awards. The gods of paganism don't really much care what you do as long as they get theirs from us. The godless do whatever they want to do. There is no one for them to answer to, no 'thou shalts' and no 'thou shalt nots' thundering down at them from the mountaintops.
But the Jews have been a real light on the hill in that regard. Everybody knows now that there is a God who has high expectations of moral behavior from his created. Even if people do not want to believe, or even refuse to believe, the meme has been planted in their brains.
And it was the Jews who planted that meme in all of our brains. For those who hate God, it was the Jews who did it. God vexes the brains of all the world because the Jews put him there.
