Why have I never noticed this before?

I don't know, I've been on here longer than that and don't even know what you are talking about with the upvote option, lol.

Well when I first joined I was green as far as social media was concerned and didn't realise all the other options. Just posted in threads and went about my business.

Then one day I can't remember why I happened to spot the mail symbol and it had a couple of posts which were there for like a year. Dare to say I was too embarrassed to reply think they may have thought I had been ignoring them.

Even later I had to get use to checking and missed others until I got into the habit of checking. But then I don't regularily check my email account that much either.

A lot of times a forum set up like this one comes with a lot of different features that the owner/admin uses or not. Some forums have a reputation system and I'm guessing that's what this is, but whatever it's supposed to be connected to isn't activated. Unless it's connected to the blessings accumulator. But having done some upvotes I didn't see anyone's blessings number increase.

I think the upvote function is pretty pointless. People on this forum express their approval with the like button, which is both more visible and nuanced. To have both is redundant.

In the light of the topic... is it just me, or is the level system not working at all? Everybody is on level 1?
Also, it also appears that the achievements system is not working as well?
