The sciencedirect.com article is about 8 years old and doesn't recognize the inability of "green energy" to provide all of the electricity our world needs and it doesn't appear to recognize that "green energy" fails to provide the enough stability of electric energy in a large, robust economy such as the USA.
That wasn't what you asked. You wanted to know if there will be 'more jobs available in the unstable field of alternative "Green" energy...'

Yes, there will be. Here's some more info: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S026499931630709X

'We find $1 million spending creates 7.49 FTE (full time equivalent) jobs in renewables, 7.72 in Energy Efficient.
Fossil fuel industries support 2.65 FTE jobs per $1 million spending.'

How relevant is a article that is almost 8 years old?

The only one of your sources that I consider to be a viable source is newscientist.com

No, you don't recognize it. I said green energy provides far more employment today than fossil fuels ever will. I mean there is no question about it.

Noting likewise "green" or other color energy so far produces more and worse pollution in air, sea, land, and our food supply, pollution that is fatal to unknown thousands every day.

What? Do you think that in the last few years the situation has reversed? Good grief, I could have highlighted the date and said 'Look, this is what it was like 8 years ago!'

If you have any money to invest and your broker asks 'Green or fossil?' would you really go fossil? Bear in mind that the race is already running and green is lengths ahead (see the figures you've been given). And now you have a new jockey who's intent on beating, if not a dead horse, but one on its last legs.

(Bradskii checks his solar panel app)

And good news. I just sold another 34kWh to the electricity company today.

I know wind-turbine electrical generators can be hazardous to birds, but if it comes down to power for my iPad over 0.012 dead birds?, I’m charging.

“Tricky to recycle”=“it’s not cheap”.
When more recycling comes in, it would be profitable if they could get the costs [safely] down, (or maybe the boon of “deregulation” will save us and they can just chuck it out back?)
