Why Doesn't God Heal Amputees?

I'm serious. I'd really like an answer to this, that isn't an attempt by someone to rationalize for God. I'm saying, I'd like a good Biblically based explanation of why God doesn't heal the paraplegics and such.

Not knowing the answer is bugging me.

Why doesn't God simply wave his magic wand and take away all our problems? Our moral ambiguities, our directionlessness, our lack of purity. The answer is I believe that it is the struggle that makes us human, righteousness without temptation is not true righteousness, only the struggle makes the value of our souls what it is. I think it will probably depress you to know that throughout Judaism and Christian history not knowing the answer to this has bugged practically everybody, and I believe it will likely continue to do this.

Well, I think this is a good question. There are many documented records of miraculous healing. Have you ever investigated the records to see if there is a case of this type of healing?
