Have guys looked into game creation? You don’t have to master it, but just understanding what goes into it and what is possible, it can give you different perspective.

Think about it. We are within 100 years(probably much sooner) of being able to make a cyber universe and/or cyber universes. Ironically that universe would be built out of a language (code). With advanced enough algorithms we can currently build unique forests, buildings, creatures, etc. We could probably even design that universe to kick off from one bang or run 7 programs to set things up a certain way. The funny part is that the contents of that universe would probably never know that there is a computer powering it.

I get the whole gnostic thing. But atheists, I really don’t understand. The more advanced we become, the more apparent it should be that something before us set this system up. Why? Because we will soon be capable of doing the same thing on a computer and when we are, we will do it.

Thank you for your response. However, the bones for flippers are not legs. They were never meant to walk. Their body is formed for what they do best, and that is to torpedo, etc. through the water like a missile, amongst other things.

And they do not have "feet" either.

Flippers are flippers.

They just are.

It is what it is.

And because the bone structure is the same as in an actual leg and foot does not conclusively rule out a Creator. It just isn't direct evidence for or against creative design by a Creator.

I agree, it's not evidence to anyone else, that is exactly what I said. Do we have a communication problem? Repeating what I said doesn't progress your argument.

You can't prove to me that your wife loves you. Only you can know that. Any outside evidence is merely circumstantial, not direct evidence.

I like these arguments - they rely on an unwarranted extrapolation - this assumption that ALL science is basically wrong and will be 'changed' or rejected at some point.

Noone is making such an assumption ... it doesn't have to be all black or white.

It is interesting though, that scientific concepts that were at least consistent with biblical lore, if not inspired by it, are the 'science' claims that generally turn out not to be true at all. The geocentric solar system, for example.

I've never claimed to be able to 'create' anything. I am told, rather frequently, that God's designs are "perfect."

It's the Fall, dude. It's always the Fall.
If it's good it's evidence of god's perfection, and if it's flawed it was the Fall.
So christianity always win and you better convert.

If it seems "sloppy" or "inefficient" then you must have some standard in your mind of what a perfect seal would be like. Just because it "seems" sloppy to you does not mean it's actually sloppy. You just don't like it for some reason.

Yes. We can understand enough of God's mind to be saved and to know what he wants us to do. But it is presumptuous to suppose we can understand God's purposes for everything he has made in exhaustive detail.
